This cd always brings me back to high school and I will cherish it always

Probably my favorite Christmas CD of all time. I have like 3 copies laying around throughout the house. Of course, I loved *N Sync as a teenager, but this CD is a classic and will never grow out of style to me.

If you like NSYNC, you will Love this album! Not only does it have a handful of standards but it also has a lot of original songs as well. Not to mention that their harmonies are fantastic on it! So, needless to say this is a great one to purchase at Christmas (or really any time!).

This was my first purchase of anything *NSYNC related. At the time, I didn't even have a disc player. I had to play the cd off my sister's sterosystem, and record it to a tape.The tape was played so much it broke, and other tapes too hit the dust!
Since the year I bought it I've enjoyed listening to it every holiday season, even non season it will be played, and the memories of that Christmas hits me, and I remember in detail how times were, and why I am so closely connected to this group,[ten years ago, this fall.]
The songs are catchy, and each one seems to set some sort of mood.The opening track begins with an almost church sound, leading into a struggle of being away from family at the holidays, but this year being different! HOME AT LAST!
"I Never Knew the Meaning of Christmas," is an ideal song for young teens,as it expresses there is more to holidays than store bought items.
"Merry Christmas Happy Holidays" is one of the most up tempo tracks, and the single for the album. It is the fun of anticipation for Santa, and the excitement of no school[for kids], and togetherness of family!

This is by far the BEST Nsync album EVVEEEEEERR!!! LOL! I absolutely love this cd. I listen to it YEAR-ROUND!! The vocals are RIDICULOUS and their harmonies are ON POINT!! Even though they've broken up I still love the "vintage" Nsync! Everything from "I'll Never Stop" to "Do Your Thing" I just can't get enough of these guys!! :D

of buying hundreds of dollars worth of Music , Books and Etc , making Amazon what it is , I would expect this to be a Xmass Present to All of Us Regular Customers ... It would have been a Nice Touch , too bad we only think of Profits ... When was the last time a Company gave you a Freebee for making it what it is ? ... I can't Remember ... The release is a neat cross-section of a decade of pop culture, with an obvious focus on those who were - or continue to be - the chart toppers.

The one artist with the most remarkable staying power is Bruce Springsteen, who continues to churn out timeless music. Dave Matthews Band, Norah Jones, Coldplay and Backstreet Boys cover a lot of musical turf in the ever-changing entertainment universe.

This is a good collection at a great price that benefits an outstanding cause.

First my background: 1. male 2. Classically trained musician and complete musical elitist. My tastes include anything from THIS to Death Metal like Lamb Of God and Arch Enemy.

This is going to be REALLY hard for me to not swear about some of the previous reviews I have read. Let me rip your arguments to shreds before I start to review this amazing album.

a) "This isn't music". Obviously you have not studied music. Yes, this is music. A collection of sounds for an artistic purpose.
b) "they don't write their own music". Read the credits in the album. Granted they did not write 100%, but JC (and Justin) are smattered around the song writing credits on this album (and 'Celebrity')
c) "They can't sing". Watch a live version of the accapella "I thought she knew" (a track on this very album). watch any of their performances. particularly ballads. All 5 of them have good tone, and are really expressive with their phrasing, and ornamentation. I don't understand why people say they "can't" sing.

Ok, now to the CD: I dug this CD out as a joke to listen to, infact! it was about 7 YEARS since I'd bought it as a pre-teen and never listened past "Bye Bye Bye". Man, was I impressed and surprised!

I can't put my finger on why. This music is just infectious. It was written that way, and to deny it, is to be ignorant. Don't forget, this is the album that holds the fastest 1 day and 1 week sales record EVER!

I'm not going to review individual tracks. The album from cover to cover just plays perfectly. The instrumental tracks are really well produced and undeniably funky, and definately dont have as many 'cliches' in the arrangements as other pop acts of the era.

The talent of all 5 members is really evident. And no, you cannot fake talent that with a computer...regardless of what you believe. In ballads the harmonies are rich, and every track brings a strong melody.

Like I said, the reason this album has aged so well compared to other pop-acts of the new millennium is really unclear. I probably attribute it to quality. Good music is always good music, and its really a shame the talented members of this pop act are no longer performing together.

If you are image conscious...or have the word "punk" in your amazon account name... then you will already have made your mind up before you hear a single track. YOU are the reason Boybands died. The image conscious killed the image of the boyband.

But if you are the type who doesn't cry over being "cool", or doesnt have to buy something just because its a "fad" then I DARE you to spend $13 and buy this. I DARE YOU TO NOT ENJOY EVERY SECOND OF THIS MONUMENTAL MASTERPIECE! Prove me wrong!

Recording artists have their defining albums, but few of them catapult those dubbed as clones into superstar status, break sales records, redefine a genre and re-introduce listeners to one of the then-future most influential performers in pop music. Such is the case with *NSYNC's 2000 effort, No Strings Attached.

In a market that included competitors such as the Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and LFO, it was often hard to differentiate between boy bands. The Backstreet Boys had a year earlier broken first-week sales records with the release of Millennium, seemingly solidifying their position as the reigning kings, but *NSYNC's foray into electronica, R&B and hip-hop broadened the pop music hemisphere -- and their fan base.

The 12-track knockout began with "Bye, Bye, Bye." Known just as much for the dance routine in the video, the song's hard-edged beat pushed the group through an aggressive yet toned-down male answer to Alanis Morisette's "You Oughta Know." Justin Timberlake's beatbox guided "It's Gonna Be Me," surprisingly the group's sole No. 1 hit on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, before taking an out-of-this-world jaunt with Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes on "Space Cowboy (Yippie-Yi-Yay)."

Keeping in line with hip-hop, "Just Got Paid" was a remake of Johnny Kemp's 1988 new jack swing gem that stayed remarkably true to the original (with the addition of verses by Timberlake and Chris Kirkpatrick). "It Makes Me Ill," co-written by Kandi of Xscape fame, channels the fluid R&B melodies of tracks such as TLC's "No Scrubs" and Destiny's Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills," and is the decade's answer to funk at its best. "No Strings Attached" has plenty of glass-breaking, guitar-riffed fades and beats to create an edgy groove that Michael Jackson could have created magic with during the Dangerous time period.

"Digital Get Down" is a track with not-so-subtle suggestions for the boys' girls to engage in a little cyber and phone sex. While the notion may seem a little creepy -- or a little intriguing -- the song's hybrid breakbeatz-drum `n' bass melody may prove more convincing. No boy band's album is complete without ballads, the highlight on No Strings Attached being "I Thought She Knew." The a cappella showcase featured usual lead singers Timberlake and JC Chasez taking the rare action of sharing verses with Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone.

Though the boys failed to duplicate their success with their follow-up, Celebrity, fans of No Strings Attached say little in the way of criticism for the album, except that Jive Records should have released more singles from it. The album is a strong example that pop isn't entirely bubble gum, and that hip-hop heads and dance music aficionados can find commonality on such a mainstream compilation. It also began to differentiate the group's members, some of whom have moved on to become successful solo stars (or at least known for something other than being in *NSYNC). And, if nothing else, No Strings Attached provided the soundtrack for that killer performance at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, which blended all three of the album's hits and gave viewers new ideas on how to mix TV and choreography.

The follow-up to *NSYNC's self titled American debut Album felt over due, when legal actions put breaks on the anticipated release, fans desperately awaited. Fortunately, *NSYNC settled disputes with former manager, Louis J. Peralman, whom cheated the group financially,allowing them to switch record labels. JIVE RECORDS became their new home.
Promotion for the album featured the group on every show imaginable. In honor of their first single *NSYNC premiered their video "Bye, Bye, Bye" at MTV's TRL Studios live in NYC. The video was featured on MTV's "Making the Video," while the single was preformed at the TRL SUPERBOWL PRESHOW, SNOWED IN,In Studio for a two hour live program presented by MTV,and TRL.
HBO aired their hit tour live that year from Madison Square Garden,with a video release later that year, of the entire set list.
Later that year, the group preformed the hit single,in a medley at the VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS, and took home three moon men, in part to this single!
*NSYNC made it clear they had something special. In their first week U.S. sales topped, any previous competition. *NSYNC's Monster 2.3 mill in one week is an incredible feat for any artist. Add a record selling number for concert sales, and merchandise official books, toys, and loads of magazine articles, and interviews, and you have a winner all around!

I admit...I'm crazy about NSYNC, even though they're not together anymore! Wow what great harmony and JC/Justin can sing! This cd is full of great songs!

I just had to take time out and address this, really. I give you people who still talk up this CD props. The "boy bands" of yester-year were LOVED by young women and girls EVERYwhere and HATED by pretty much everyone else. You guys still showin love NOW are a surprise, but at least you stick to your guns. F**K what all these other people say, calling y'all names and sh** cause they're as closed-minded as the industry punks and casual music fans they insult. They just like something else.

By the way, I used to actually like some NSYNC stuff. Never was a huge fan, but they weren't as bad as a lot of people made them seem (or as good, but whatever lol). The CD was aright. Nothing mind blowing or touching, but good at the time I guess. It's young teen music for the most part. I don't think any of the members thought they were setting out to make a classic destined to stand the test of time. They were probably just being hugely famous, making money and having fun. Honestly, can't hate on that. Would you do it if you had the chance??

1998 could've been called the year of boy bands, and bubblegum pop's return. All things hard and rebelled melted into the background!
The Disney Channel and Music Television took these new artists on, with specials, and a weekly television show, Total Request.
Five guys have already found stardom in another land, far from the U.S.,their home. An airing of concert footage, with interviews quickly picks up attention.
Early fall the group makes the very first "Total Request" appearance, making them a mainstay with multiple visits,videos, and performances to come.
Singles
"I Want You Back" this breakup track has been the start of their career, and well known by their fans. This version is not like the lounger European release.
"Tearrin Up My Heart" is a song about hurting when your without your love. It's a catchy dance number, sure to get you moving.
"God Must Have Spent" [A Little More Time On You] shows these guys can harmonize, and well. A slower paced ballad sets a warm, and loving mood. A meaningful piece promises the one being sung to is an incredibly special person, thanks to God's intervention.
Forth single "I Drive Myself Crazy" is somewhere between fast and slow in tempo. A song about going crazy after breakup is what is here. Plus, we get their bittersweet vocals.
We really don't want that heartache for them, do we?
Remakes of "Sailing" and "Everything I Own" are well remastered. Amongst the getup and dance tracks these showcase their blending of harmonies.
There is much likability to this album, and its 13 song count. It's worth a listen, or two. Chance it, and see for yourself, the artists *NSYNC are!

This is nsync's first album released in asia, it wasn't that big hit anyway. But when i heard this album all the way it was wow! songs are sangable, easy to remember but what i love most about this album is the very good blending and harmony of the boys, can't imagine very young dudes could sing those kind of songs coz the arrangements is not that easy to tell you honestly. My fave song in the album is "sailing", it has a great harmony they did a really great job there. It was awesome!

NSYNC for me is the only boyband who can sing and dance at the same time. Well, that's something hard to do...

Anyway, just want to say how good they are in acapellas. They have the perfect acapellas that I have ever heard. My Pap is a pro musician and he also like their harmony accdg to him they're really good in it.

I know not everyone like NSYNC but personally I love them.

This is a pretty good CD. I use this and one from the Backstreet Boys to excersie to. It really gets ya movin!

This is a great cd, and i really love it. Nsync is a great music group, and it is a shame that they broke up. BUt the music is still great, and very good. A wonderful item to listen to if you love pop music like i do.

Seems like Jive released this album without any input from the members of Nsync at all. There are a couple of reworked versions of hits that I've seen on YouTube that I would have loved to have on cd, like a bluesy version of I Want You Back and that hyped out version of It's Gonna Be Me. Seems they did not give them a chance to rework anything or include new material to boost sales.

With Justin and JC solo and completely "un pop" it's doubtful the group will go back to this kind of music. It's obvious Jive doesn't really care, and was just trying to get closer to the contracted amount of albums that Nsync agreed to record for them. Sad, because I was looking forward to a more adult sound from them, more along the lines of what Justin is doing solo.

That said, I agree that if you don't have any of your old Nsync music this is a nice one to have. I loved them when they were hot and they remain high on my faves list.

ALTHOUGH NSYNC IS NO LONGER "TOGETHER" THEY'LL ALWAYS BE ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS. I THINK THE GREATEST HITS ALBUM IS ONE OF THEIR BEST. IT'S UPBEAT AND FUN TO SING ALONG TO. 2001 was unforgettable, for better or worse. July 24th came the release of the group's newest album. Bubblegum pop fused with an r&b vibe to create a more mature sound. Members Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez wrote and produced several of the tracks.
"Pop" their first offering has an edgy, and funky sound. Justin, and Choreographer, Wade Robinson penned the track. The studio version ends with Timberlake beat boxing.
Second Single,"Gone" came across as message that Timberlake wanted out of the boy band stereotypes. As one of the slower listens "Gone" is soaking with emotional pain, and question of what went wrong in the relationship? The debut comes at an unfortunate time. The 9/11 attacks hurt the track, as many artists struggled through the devastations. The piece did lead the group into other areas of music. They even obtained an appearance on BET,an African American Entertainment Show a huge accomplishment. Few whites have graced such a privilege!
"Girlfriend" is their most urban song, and later Nelly is added in a remix version. As the title would suggest it is about girlfriends. They're trying to persuade the girl to ditch her current boyfriend, for a better love life.
This album is full of good music, that doesn't need to be skipped over. A highlight "Something Like You" written by Justin has hit maker Stevie Wonder playing harmonica.
J.C. too has writing credibility throughout the record. "The Two Of Us," has a carnival backing,and feels like walking through fairgrounds, with that somebody special.
"Up Against The Wall" has more of an adult vibe. A club setting sets the mood for a boys night out! It is the women who have the upper hand.

need i say more? again, like the last album "no strings attached", "celebrity" is another studio synthesized/manufactured one. if offers no quality music whatsoever. i have this CD and i'm ashamed of myself for even still having it.

btw, the name of this album is very pompous don't u think?? well, these guys sure aren't anymore, not counting JT, who's a little over his head w/his dumb music

I guess "The Two Of Us" is passable, but skates dangerously close to filler as does "Pop". Thank goodness it's somewhat catchy...

The absolute filler tracks though, are: "Celebrity", "Tell Me, Tell Me...Baby" (UGH. TERRIBLE. Almost as bad as the horrid, "Celebrity", "Up Against The Wall" (Yawn...), "See Right Through You" (Whatever...it just ain't believe-able), "Just Don't Tell Me That"; Hell, pretty much the whole album is plagued with filler after filler tracks.

The only decent songs are "Gone" (a pop classic) and "Girlfriend". The songs that are tolerable are "The Two Of Us", the half-hearted ballad, "Selfish" and the sneakin'-around-sounding-production on "Something Like You". The rest is absolutely trashy filler material.

Do yourself a favor today and don't look back to 2001. At least not for this CD!! Go back a year to 2000, and pick up Nelly Furtado's "Whoa, Nelly!". Now THAT'S a classic pop album!

I used to be an *N Sync fan back in the day, not a fanatic but just a fan of their music. Once this CD came out I thought about possibly buying it til I heard most of it at a record store and I was ashamed to have liked their music. The song "Pop" isn't even that good, but needless to say that was their only good song on that CD. It is best to just save your money. Justin is doing better without the guys.

no no no, i just don't like it, i recieved this for my birthday last month and i was frustrated with my in laws because for one, this cd is quite old. 2nd, this cd is hideous, besides the catchy "pop" the whole cd fails to strike a nerve with any of my senses. I recomend just buying something recent or artistically endeavouring, not childish and ridiculous

Now 6 is definetely the best CD in the Now series yet! I love it! Most of the songs are really good. I love ATC's "Around The World", as well as K-Ci & JoJo's "Crazy" because they have great lyrics and music. I also like Jennifer Lopez's song,, as well as Coldplay's and Destiny's Child's "Independent Women Part I", which is really good. Samantha Mumba absolutely has potential, and I really like Incubus' "Drive", because I love the lyrics a lot. But my 3 favorite songs are as follows: 3) Fuel's "Hemorrhage (In My Hands), because the lyrics rock as does the music. 2) 3LW's "No More" because it is just a great song! But number 1 is Crazy For This Girl by Evan and Jaron, because it has awesome lyrics, awesome music, an awesome beat, and Evan and Jaron have got GREAT singing voices!
But there's a downside...'NSYNC's song, even if it's good, is VERY old (1 year and 2 months old when this C.D. was released!), some might find Shaggy's song inappropriate (but I still like it), and I HATE Creed's "With Arms Wide Open", mainly because of bad lyrics, scratchy voices, and horrid music! All the other songs not mentioned here are good.

Still, the upside makes up for the downside very well, and it's a great album for the pop listener, and I highly recommend this.

I purchased Now 6 in October of 2001. I was bored and needed to find my taste in music...now 5 years later and wiser. I've decided to give the run down on each song.

1.Britney Spears-Stronger: I've seen the video for this....it's hookable but doesn't cut it for me..Too popish and repeatitive. She can sing but she put too much in it. Using tech equipment and thunder. Girls who like her or there mom's might go for it lol 3/10

2.Samantha Mumba-Gotta Tell You: When i first heard this song i liked the lyrics. The video made sense also. It's still pop but not popish as stronger. It falls into pop and romantic. Sure I'll let it play. 5/10

3.*NSYNC-Bye Bye Bye: Terrible! Need I say more? So annoying Not surprised one of the member's is gay. 0/10

4.ATC-Around The World(La La la La La): Man...i so can smell sell out..only thing good about it is the beat. This is the type of techno i won't fall for. The lyrics don't even make sense Skip! or maybe i knew where it was on the cd scratch! 0/10

5.Jennifer Lopez-Love Don't Cost a Thing: Ok it's better but can get annoying...they played this song alot for the movie the wedding planner go figure. She sings of how love isn't about money and be loved for free. If she didn't add in of the gangsta style I might have gone for it more. 4/10

6.Destiny's Child-Independant Woman Part 1: Sucks! Sell out for the movie Charlie's Angel's I think they were bored and saw money on the table when they were writing this song 0/10

7.Shaggy-It Wasn't Me: Good music. Good lyrics. Enjoyable. Except the other guy singing like he's from jamaica. 6/10

8.3LW-No More(Baby I'ma Do Right): When this came out. Girls Sing to this song....maybe i'm missing something but it's not for me. They hide there voices from the equilizer. Doesn't cut it for me. And plus I have different thoughts about the lyrics. The lyrics cover for the guys who can get girls just like that. And for the easy girls who sing about guys who are not faithful. Just break up! lol 2/10

9.K-Ci & JoJo- Crazy: I usually skip this song and hardly give it alot of listening. It's ok for when your at school dance and want to have a slow dance with a girl you have a crush on.Too much of the equalizer for the voices. Sure I'll give it a listen. 5/10

10.R. Kelly-I Wish: Sucks because he has the kids go I wish I wish every 15 seconds. Other then that it doesn't give any feeling for me. Gets better after the first two minutes. Lyrics are not bad. I've skipped this track and haven't given it much listening until now. 5/10

11.Backstreet Boys-Shape of My Heart: Good Song. I didn't want to have it played on the radio but they did. I'm not a fan of the Backstreet Boys I'm not much of a boy band listener. But this song is good. Good lyrics. Good music. Surprises me. 7/10

12.Evan and Jaron-Crazy For This Girl: Good Song just as good as track 11. It gives you a feel of a montana dude living in the city and falling for a girl who lives in the next building. He sings of a girl he loves and wonders if she knows or not. The main chorus "Would you look at her she looks at me she's got me thinking about her constantly. but she don't know how i feel. and she carry's on without a doubt. i wonder if she's figured it out that i'm crazy for this girl...i'm crazy for this girl." That's part of the song. Awesome lyrics. Hats off 8/10

13.Coldplay-Yellow: Good Song. I sometimes skip..sometimes play..depends on the mood. Not bad lyrics 7/10

14.Lenny Kravitz-Again: Not bad...same thing as yellow sometimes skip sometimes play. he wonders of seeing this girl again and how he can win with her. 6/10

15.Fuel-Hemorrhage(In My Hands): Perfect Song. I've replayed this song a couple of times. Great song. Surprised i never heard it on the radio....radio has weird taste. 9/10

16.Creed-With Arms Wide Open: Good song but I think differently of the band now then 5 years ago. They broke up due to contract issues....smell's like sell out attitude. Anyway. Good song I still like and still will play...at least better then replaying my sacriface on the radio a billion times during 2001 and 2002.Which is another sign of sellout. Still good song. 9/10

17.Incubus-Drive: Good song for when i'm driving. 9/10

18.U2-Beautiful Day: They played this song in the movie "Bandits" with Bruce Willis. Not bad...but not my favorite now as when it was released. 7/10

19.Everclear-Am Radio: It's ok my friends liked it. I don't know what everclear was doing. Were they singing or giving us a history lesson...I'm all set...end cd 3/10.

In concluding this long review. I hope it gives you future buyers help to decide to buy it or not. In my opinion I think it's just better to download the songs you think you might like or pick up the album itself of the artists. I don't know I feel i shouldn't have bought it now five years later. I should of gotten to know how to download more or buy the artist's album itself. I was 13 and had no taste in music. I've noticed the last half of the cd was starting to skip...possibly since i gave it alot of playing then the first half. In end I give the cd an average 3 stars.

Everclear gives us pop and Backstreet doesn't suck...it's all here on the next in the 'Now!' series, yet another album full of songs you've already heard 100 times and yet for some reason decided to subject yourself again. Yes, it's true no matter what you say, that this is as guilty a pleasure as they come, for you're buying an album full of the same songs that, had they come on the radio, you'd turn off in a heartbeat with most likely a disgusted face and a remark like "not this crap again" or "I just heard this song."

Fast forward to now. Today you buy this album, or if you already own it you put it in your CD player and you enjoy yourself because these are no longer the songs you hate to hear but the songs you long to hear for they remind you of your yesteryears...and that's why the 'Now!' series is so entertaining...because while it may not have seemed it in 1999, this album has staying power.

So this time Britney starts things off, and while 'Stronger' isn't by any means a 'strong' song it's not as horrid as 'Lucky' was and is a decent listen. Samantha Mumba, another one hit wonder, offers us a taste of something good on 'Gotta Tell You' and of course N'Sync rock with 'Bye Bye Bye' which, I don't care who you are you have to love!

There are some blah tracks like ATC's 'Around the World' and the horrid Destiny's Child 'Independant Woman Pt. 1' but their made up for by Shaggy's 'It Wasn't Me' and R. Kelly's 'I Wish'. I'm also a huge 3LW fan and just love 'No More' while I could live without 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' while it doesn't make me skip the track. K-Ci & JoJo make a comeback with the 'Save the Last Dance' anthum 'Crazy' and they score...I mean as much as I try to hate this song I just can't (maybe cuz I love the movie so much).

As I mentioned, Backstreet doesn't suck here. I actually enjoy 'Shape of my Heart'...so sue me.

The rock here is a decent mix, Kravitz resurfacing AGAIN with 'Again' and it's a great song. I can't hate it or diss it in anyway, I've always loved it and always will. Not a huge fan of 'Yellow' as much as I love Coldplay, I just never really cared for that song. Fuel and Incubus are great if not...played out, and Creed is Creed although 'With Arms Wide Open' while huge in it's own respects does nothing for the band really. I don't mind 'AM Radio' I just don't like it. It's too poppy even for Everclear and that upsets me. Other than that the only bone I have to pick with the Now! people is that fact that they really need to mix these better instead of having all the rock at the end, they need to intergrate the genre's. That way we can get everything all at once!

I just love the NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC! series. The NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC! series are nothing more and nothing less than CD's with a bunch of hit songs on them. It's great for people who only like certain songs and don't feel like wasting money on a whole album when you're looking for only one or two songs from certain artists. It also lets you carry around less CDs so you do not have to carry around your entire CD collection wherever you go! Here's the list of tracks and what I think of them:

"Stronger" Britney Spears - - this is Britney's best song, after "(You Drive Me) Crazy". This song even sounds a bit like "Crazy". [5/5 stars]

"Gotta Tell You" Samantha Mumba - - this is a really cool song! It's a great uptempo, dance song. Samantha Mumba is a great artist with an awesome voice! [5/5 stars]

"Bye Bye Bye" *N SYNC - - blah! This is just about the most annoying track on this whole compilation. [0/5 stars]

"Around The World (La La La La La)" ATC - - this is a great dance song! I love the beat and lyrics. ATC's vocals are pretty good, too. Now this is a REAL dance song! [5/5 stars]

"Love Don't Cost A Thing" Jennifer Lopez - - I just love J.Lo's music and I think she's a great role model. This song is wonderful and one of my favorites on this whole compilation. [5/5 stars]

"Independent Women [Prt. 1]" Destiny's Child - - amazing song. Though it's old now, it's still one of my favorites from Destiny's Child. [5/5 stars]

"It Wasn't Me" Shaggy - - I just love this song. Though I didn't like how they edited the song on this CD...the original version is so much better. But all in all, a fantastic song! [5/5 stars]

"No More (Baby I'ma Do Right)" 3LW - - well, okay, I guess. Definitely not my favorite track, though. I like the song...I just don't like 3LW - they sound like a bunch of whiny babies! [3/5 stars]

"Crazy" K-Ci & Jojo - - good song. It's a sweet ballad. I like the lyrics and K-Ci & Jojo's vocals are pretty good. [4/5 stars]

"I Wish" R. Kelly - - pretty okay. Though really not one of my favorites. [3/5 stars]

"Shape Of My Heart" Backstreet Boys - - definitely the best track on this entire CD! I'm a huge fan of the BSB and their music rocks! This is an awesome song...never gets boring or old! [10/5 stars]

"Crazy For This Girl" Evan & Jaron - - this is a wicked cool song. I just love it. Evan & Jaron's vocals are awesome and the lyrics are great with a cool beat. [5/5 stars]

"Yellow" Coldplay - - well, not the best song. But it's still pretty listenable. This is more of a hard-core Rock song. Great song. [4/5 stars]

"Again" Lenny Kravitz - - this is Lenny Kravitz's best song! I think this is a totally awesome song. Definitely worth a listen or two. [5/5 stars]

"With Arms Wide Open" Creed - - I absolutely hate this song! It ties with *N SYNC's song on my list as being the two worst songs on this entire CD. Definetely skip over this track! [0/5 stars]

"Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" Fuel - - pretty good song. This is definitely better than Creed's song. Cool. [4/5 stars]

"Drive" Incubus - - I'm surprised that I actually love this song. It's a wicked awesome song - even though it's rock - and definitely cool. [5/5 stars]

"Beautiful Day" U2 - - once again, another okay song. This is one of the few worth-while U2 songs. And only because it won a Grammy for Song of the Year. [3/5 stars]

"A.M. Radio" Everclear - - not too great. I liked the Everclear song that was on the NOW 5 CD a lot better than this one. I'm not really a huge Everclear fan, anyways. [1/5 stars]

So as you can tell, for the most part, this is an excellent CD compilation. It is still great to listen to and enjoy. It's a guilty pleasure CD.

This CD is a great, 19-track CD with a cool mix of Pop, R&B, and Rock songs. Definitely a must-have.

ok, I don't care much for the nsync, britney, and destiny's child tracks, as i dont care for them at all. ATC's "all around the world" is probably by far my favorite track. Theyre one of my favorite artists, and if you enjoyed that song, you'll prolly like their album "planet pop"!

C'mon, even if you're a grown adult by now or whatever, you have got to admit that you loved nysnc at one time! This was the music of the late 90s and I miss it so much! My favorite songs on this album were tearing up my heart and i want you back. These were so fun and upbeat and they were great to dance and sing to. Too bad rap music has taken over.

It has been ten years since NSYNC was introduced to the world (they came out in 1998), but I remember vividly when they first debuted. They were one of the biggest pop crazes ever. I remember a classmate from middle school who was completely obsessed with them. She inundated her notebook with photos, interviews and articles containing them. I know I am extremely late, but I finally picked up their first album. I was listening to it and it brought back a slew of memories from a good time in my life. Hits like "God Must Have Spend a Little More Time on You", "Tearing Up My Heart", "I Drive Myself Crazy" and "I Want You Back" completely took over radios and video channels everywhere.

I enjoyed all of the songs that were released from this album. Those songs, like most of the album, are PURE POP and, at times, extremely corny, but hey, who doesn't have a few guilty pleasures? One thing I appreciate about these men is the fact that they harmonize very well. When they go into their solos, that is when you are enabled to see the weaknesses within their voices. "Tearing Up My Heart" has a very infectious hook and nice beat. The men of NSYNC do a nice job executing the song and it was a huge hit. "I Drive Myself Crazy" is one of the best moments on this album. I really like this ballad and its video. In the video, the NSYNC men were in straight jackets, classic! "You Got It", "Giddy Up" and "Crazy for You" are the weakest tracks here, but they are alright.

If you enjoyed the music scene in circa 1998, do buy this album because it will resurface a plethora of memories for you to hold on to. Also, a lot of these songs will have you dancing. Good investment.

I just bought this CD to get my Cockatoo to dance to it like the Cockatoo on the blogs. He started to, but never quite got the hang of it.

While I really don't care for NSYNC... actually, I take that back, I don't even LIKE them anymore... this album is actually a guilty pleasure. I was planning on selling this one but then I thought, this is one of the very first albums I've ever gotten... I love it! No way was I going to sell this. I may sell No Strings Attached, but this one is staying in my collection forever. Wouldn't you do the same thing if this was one of your first CDs even though you didn't like the group anymore? I know I would. I know NSYNC is all said and done with, but I just can't put this album down! Although I do like the backstreet boys a lot better than NSYNC though, this is really a guilty pleasure. I recommend this even if you are not an NSYNC fan.

Back in the 90s when I was in my early teens, I was never a fan of NSYNC, mainly because they were designed to make the girls squeal, and I wasn't a girl :) But looking back at that time from today, it makes me remember just how CUTE NSYNC's fans were. They would all giggle and squeal over them and had pictures of trheir favourite NSYNCer up on their locker doors and bedroom walls. And whenever they talked about the group, they'd do it in high pitched squealy giggles.

"OOOOOOOoooohhhh I loooooooooooove Justin! He's sooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuute!!! I'm gonna marry him some day! *squeal squeal squeal*

Those squealy NSYNC fans taught me that girls are precious and to appreciate how cute they are! Those squealy girls were really "cuuuuuute!" *squeal squeal*
