Pure enjoyment for all. HOORAY FOR BOOBIES varies from Hard rock to soft (white people) Rap,punk,pop even some crazy german tecno. With clever fastbeat and best of all funny lyrics that are going to turn heads. Whether you blast it out of your car, or just listen to it at work its bound to be enjoyed by all. I loved all but one track (yummy down on this)16/17 I would recommend this in any collection.

Alright, I won't bull_____ myself, I don't like the Bloodhound Gang as much as I used to. Well, I had no idea about much rock beyond classic, I was mostly into death metal at the time I bought this album. Sure, I have a less tolerance for radio rock during these days (You can only take power chords for so long), alright, but that doesn't mean this album still doesn't own.

When it comes to The Bloodhound Gang, this is their most known album. While it has that title, I really don't think it's one of their strongest albums, compared to the still masterful One Fierce Beer Coaster and the goofy, underrated as _______ Use Your Fingers (largely considered a flop). It's better than the follow up, Hefty Fine (yeah, no way that one could be a perfect recording), though. Still, the band is pretty much impossible to love, at least to like, in my eyes. People have different eyes though, so I can't say everybody.

This album is a glorious celebration of stupidity. But it's actually very clever and quite hilarious. The puns can probably be spotted easier than some bands, but that's alright, because at least they aren't pretentious to the point of annoying. The lyrics are easily as much of a star than the music. Some of these songs are rather stale sounding, such as Magnum Cum Laude, the awful cover, Yummy Down On This, and The Lap Dance is So Much Better... you know (it's an satricial song, sure, but sounds like a novelty). It's kind of difficult to attack the other tracks, but they do bring down the rating because I don't the tracks are still strong enough to get a higher rating.

BUT, man, these songs on here are awesome. The drummer really bangs out hard, funky grooves that you would be a fool not to dance to. The Bad Touch and The Great White whatever it is rips with some of the funkiest white boy "monkey beats" (their name for the drums), ever. Three Point One Four is hilarious, and somehow, that chord progression is infectious. The skits are pretty much useless, but clever as well. Some can get annoying (such as the Chasey Lane skit and the three second periods of silence), but only lighten the mood. It's easy to not feel happy when listening to this album.

You probably wouldn't find much to laugh at if you don't have a really juvenile side at all, but ________ that. Hilarious and clever, you'd be a fool to not give this a listen.

I just get a laugh when I hear younger kids talk about this album, they have no clue about most of the references in the lyrics. Just ask most about "right turn clyde" and they have no clue where this came from.

This album is great and funny. It's not for all ages cause the humour is very innapropiate but what the heck none of the songs are bad with the exception of "A Lap Dance..." which is long and boring. The skits are mainly funny except "This is stupid" and "R.S.V.P." The best songs are "Mope", "Along Comes Mary", "I Hope You Die", "The Great White Dope" and "The Bad Touch". And hey the guy who said bloodhound gang is stupid, you're a sucker. Bloodhound Gang rocks. If you don't like them get the hell outta here loser.

What's wrong with BHG? Besides everything? Is it possible for them to write more than one good song in their pathetic lives? My sister burned this CD from a friend, most likely because she likes the Bad Touch song, and I'VE been the one having to hear it in the morning when she's getting ready for school. It's pathetic. I don't know how much I can stress the word "pathetic", but it's the only way to fully describe it. Out of 18 tracks, there's one, count it, ONE good song, "The Inevitable Return of The Great White Dope", because it's nothing like their other songs. Everything else on this album is just like "Fire Water Burn", "The Bad Touch", "Hell Yeah", you get the picture. Palm-muted, droning, songs with extremely explicit lyrics, which is the only reason people will remember them. Isn't it about time to come out of the 13-16 year old stage? Having lyrics about sex won't get you any. Bands like Blink-182, Sum 41, and System of a Down have funny songs, but they have their limits.
About the "music": 1)Palm-muting doesn't make a song good. I get it. You can palm-mute. So can most people who play guitar or bass. 2)Make your music more diverse and varied, or at least change your patterns. Elastica's self-titled album has 4-chord patterns, except they play faster, and the songs aren't much longer than two and a half minutes long (not that I'm comparing BHG to Elastica). 3)Do what you do "best", and don't try metal. "Magna Cum Nada" is BHG's horrible attempt to make something metal-ish. Stop.
The problem with Bloodhound Gang is that they just won't die. People like them somehow, and so they feel compelled to squeeze out more and more crap that gets worse and worse as it progresses, not saying that they were ever good.

About time I found this!! I been searching for these years trying to remember who sang "Fire Water Burn" from VH-1 and I had SO much trouble figure out who sang this song and I am so glad I found this album that I been looking for these years!!! I listened this album off music sampler and all the songs sounds great now I am going to order this album right after I leave the comment on here!!

____, this album just sounds so much different from Use YOur Fingers. If that album would not have flopped, think about what the BHG would be doing now.

Their most ambitious, it sounds so much different compared to Hooray For Boobies. That cd had alot of guitar riffs, and the lyrics are the ones that most people think that the band is only about. While I love that ______ album, it's their most juvenile. But not enough to annoy me. I think the lyrics are pretty cool. It does contain ALong Comes Mary. Their worst song, and only song by them that dosen't get a ten. More like a 3. Damn record company's fault. I bet they could have done better and make the music like the original. Lyrics don't cut it.

That's about it. THis one is way different in a good way. Even Boom is good, although Vannila ICe's part sucks like ______.

EVERYONE has heard 'Fire Water Burn'.... that is about it though on this CD. Still good to have but buy with 'Hooray for Boobies' if you want their better CD.

Nob jokes, toilet humour, cheap swearing, tacky pop culture references, and so-uncool-they're-cool 80s New Romantic songs. Hmm. Must be Bloodhound Gang.

To say `One Fierce Beer Coaster' redefined dumb, lowest common denominator Rap/Rock is stealing a bit of Limp Bizkit's thunder, but take a look at the similarities. Both bands were/are loved and hated in equal quantities, both were quite keen on borrowing other people's material, and both have white boy wannabe Rappers for front men. But that's where the similarities end. For a start, Fred Durst takes himself far too seriously. Jimmy Pop Ali has a big squishy nose and knows it. Fred Durst couldn't write a rhyme to save himself. Jimmy Pop Ali's lyrics rhyme some of the least expected, dumbest words ever.

From whoa to go, `One Fierce Beer Coaster' is pretty much a series of jokes tacked together and called an album. Much of the humour is self-effacing, the Bloodhounds thinking of themselves as low down Gen-X slacker types, and they're probably right. However, Jimmy Pop and his crew have plenty to say about their safe and boring suburban society, the same way OG Rappers of the past commented on the ghettoes and slums of their youth. Basically, the suburbs are shallow breeding grounds for the mediocre and the superficial. Um, but most of this is just good, dumb fun.

First track "Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny" is an ode to the hazards of oral sex. It has a big, simple guitar riff, a bit of scratching, a few samples, and Jimmy Pop singing like an idiot. And that's pretty much the formula for the rest of the album too.

"Lift Your Head Up High (And Blow Your Brains Out)" touches on teen suicide, basically saying if you're thinking about it because of your crappy life, go ahead and do it, because you suck. "I Wish I Was Queer So I Could Get Chicks" pre-empted the TV show "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" by a good few years, but basically reinforces the point that what women want in a man is a man who doesn't really want women. "Why's Everybody Always Pickin' On Me?" is self-explanatory, while "Going Nowhere Slow" is a big list of cities The Bloodhound Gang have played in, with New Jersey somehow upsetting the band, so it ain't ever going to be on their itinerary.

Even if they can't write a decent song of their own, Bloodhound Gang can spot a good tune. Stealing the memorable melody line from Duran Duran's "Hungry Like The Wolf" for "Your Only Friends Are Make Believe" was probably the brightest thing these guys did on this whole album. It's a slow paced, guitar driven song, breathing new life into the old '80s standard.

Even with their love of homoerotic New Romantic Pop, some things were still too uncool, even for the Bloodhounds. Rob Van Winkel guest starred on "Boom". "So what?", you might say. Another wannabe nobody white boy Rapper, right? Well, yeah, except this one used to go by the name Vanilla Ice, but don't tell anyone, OK? "Boom" is the slickest song on the whole album, the pair trading insults in a good old fashioned face off.

"Fire Water Burn" stands head and shoulders above the rest of the album. Sure, the formula is similar to the other songs, but the tune is the most memorable here, the lyrics the easiest to follow, and the double entendres are the funniest. Try not singing "The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire" after hearing it. It's a Rap song for those who hate Rap, and a Rock song for the non-Rocker. This is the song on which Bloodhound Gang have built their career, and good on them for doing so.

If your idea of a good laugh is the day's political cartoon in the paper, don't even bother with `One Fierce Beer Coaster'. If a good time for you involves women with big boobs, inserting foreign objects where they don't belong, beer, and making fun of those less fortunate than yourself, you've found the perfect album.

You hear this stuff and you notice the samples. You also notice the carefree attitude. Actually, you may even sense a far more dangerous and explicit attitude: the point is that they [supposedly] don't care about the fanss or themselves. That, in itself should be why you'll like them, so if that statement doesn't sound appealing, then they won't be.

Further, this band does rock hard. Believe it or not, this screw-around band puts out the heavy. Also, they do it well. They do it with their own style. And they also hate their former home state of New Jersey as well as tons of other things. This album rocks, raps, blows your mind, makes fun of Mr. Rogers and his mailman from the show, and features a guest performance by Vanilla Ice [or here, Rob Van Winkle].

Like it, love it, or hate: you will not bew indifferent to this work. By the way, try to get the older version on Cheese Factory Records that includes the song Yellow Fever: it is worth it.

Foxtrot, Uhn tiss, and No hard feelings are top draw ... up there with I hope you die, and Three Point One Four off Hooray. those songs are very catchy. and man, I'm still amazed by all the great, dare i say "intelligent" lyrics the guy comes up with.

I cant believe the reviews from both listeners and critics. Amy freakin whinehouse and the Jonas brothers get 5 star raves but this album has 23 ONE star reviews?????? What the hell????? Sure its no hooray for boobies but its LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than most of the garbage on the radio nowadays. I see everyone whining about how there are no "catchy" songs. PLEASE. My personal favorite is The Least You Could Do. Catchy, fast-paced, and fun. Just like the Gang. People need to ease up.

I actually regarded this album as a perfect score a couple of years ago.
Yeah, my musical taste have probably evolved in two years (and watch me lowering some grades in the next two years that follow), so there is no way in heaven

Thankfully, it's still a good listen. Hefty Fine is clearly the worst Bloodhound Gang album. It's shorter than the other albums, Spanky G's drum beats will be surely missed, and the goofy, stupid and simple yet infectious alternative rock isn't present as much as it used to (resulting in the totally idiotic B#!!$ Out and I'm The Least You Can Do). The guitar tone also is missing some texture at times, but it's catchy enough that it's easy to overlook. I already mentioned the length, but it kind of hurts, especially when you take out the moronic silence after the closer. I like the riff on Eminem at the beginning, but Overheard in A Wawa Parking lot is just stupid, and the recorded bathroom break is shocking only to first graders. And of course, my ever cliched "no fundamental flaws, but not worth of a very high score".

But still though, this album is highly worth listening to, maybe not purchasing, in my part (though I can't exactly say, I bought it anyway), but still good. Five years gives room for change, and it really seems that Jimmy Pop's love of Depeche Mode have come to light a bit. Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss is still a great techno song despite how many times I listened to it (Love the video too). I also would say that the hip-hop/funky elements pretty much gone (save maybe Farting With A Walkman On), as well. Thankfully, the alternative rock is good, and the techno, synth pop, whatever elements that are intact are still fun. It's still has great rhythms, one thing that I've liked the BHG, though probably not as good as they were before.

If you like the Bloodhound Gang, still give it a listen, though it's not really worth getting unless you really want it. Instead, just save this as an ablum to listen to for when you are on the internet.

Okay, this album is terrible.
I mean, when you listen to stuff like Use Your Fingers and Hooray For Boobies (One Fierce Beer Coaster also wasn't great, but I certainly liked it better than Hefty Fine) and then play Hefty Fine, it makes you want to throw it at the wall. Gone are the pop culture references and guitar-laden riffs of the good old days. Now, basically the whole album is about having sex (which I wouldn't really mind if the innuendos were more clever) and the music is so electronically mixed that you honestly start to wonder whether they really used any instruments or whether Jimmy Pop Ali honestly sang a note.

The hidden track was disappointing, compared to the hidden tracks on their other albums, and the fact that Ville Valo sang on Something Diabolical just makes it worse.

Basically, I see this album as a last-ditch attempt to acquire some quick cash and I think the guys were getting a bit desperate.

Not to say that I still don't love Bloodhound Gang, I just think they could've done way better.

All in all, this album was a huge letdown and I think Bloodhound Gang needs to step it up the next time around.

A: That's a stupid question! Um, well, it sounds like the demo tunes on tinny little hand held keyboards, but it took five guys to make the sounds. Occasionally a guitar pops up, but not often enough.

A: It depends. If you like other Bloodhound Gang albums, then you might like this. If you are just a casual observer, who quite liked "Fire Water Burn" then you'd probably be very disappointed.

A: I wouldn't go quite that far, but it's not a masterpiece. Finished with the questions?

A: Good.

I was excited about this cd...then I started listening to it. If I wanted Beastie Boys I would have bought Beastie Boys. Its nothing but lame 80's rap loops and a few butt rock tracks. Nothing like the Bloodhound gang of old. What happened to the techno/pop? What happened to somewhat punk? The only good song on the cd is Kids incorporated. I would consider this their joke cd since about half of the tracks are garbage and only 40 seconds long. One word...lame.

'Bloodhound Gang is here to get it on, so rock on brothers, rock on' - There are a lot of positive things to say about Beer Coast and Boobies, but Use Your Fingers is still the most unique! Rip Taylor, Duran Duran, Blondie and The Cure samples, trying to find his wife's placenta, then turning her upside-down to hold Jimmy's beer, and the nastiest last bonus track of all time! The only things that I would omit is Kids In America and Sh*tty Record Offer, but that certainly doesn't affect me giving this full length 5 stars.

After listening to some of the newer seemingly un-inspired Bloodhound Gang records, I have to put in some kudos to this one.. with TONS of horribly inappropriate genius lyrics.. this is a great album..

and the only bad part is that Daddy Long Legs seems to rap a little too much about how he's "cold kicking lyrics". Trust me.. listen to this album too much like me and that starts to get really annoying...

but Jimmy Pop's obscure pop culture references MORE then make up for such a minor thought.

this is without a doubt the worst album i have ever brought... EVER! i'd say its worth buying just for a joke, light up a couple of spiffs and laugh at the poor quality of this awful disgracement to the name 'music'. The only track worth listening to its the one about the transvesite, made me crack up.

I totally recommend this cd if your a fan of rap and rock. I ordered this cd off BMG after I saw the track list. My favorite track has to be Sevendust's version of Going Back to Cali, but there are many great songs off this album. Icp's "Posse on Broadway" another great song. Of course the famous cover of Eazy E's "Boys in the Hood" by Dynamite Hack. I'd recommend you to buy it, its cheap and great.

I have owned this album sinced shortly after it came out, and I still LOVE IT!!!
Old school rap and heavy metal are two of my top musical genres, and this is a tremendous compilation... highest reccomendation for anyone who is a fan of the original hip hop tracks that are expertly covered on this album. Also highly reccomended for anyone who is a fan of any of the bands featured on this album. From Sevendust to the Kottonmouth Kings, this CD is solid, start to finsh. Can I give it 6 stars?

Since this album has been out a while, this review is probably an utter waste of time as either you all probably own it or will never know about it. However, my thoughts are as follows...

It starts strong. Staind does good, no whining like their newer songs, and Mister Durst is about as odd as ever (odd meaning childish but fun at the same time). Sevendust's song is alright; I've never heard the original song that they covered, but from the sounds of things its written like a fifteen-year-old did it. From there, things dwindle and fade into background noise.
Then comes Nonpoint. This song starts good, gets you interested. After a little bit you notice it keeps getting heavier and weirder and doesn't relent. You may not like it. But, mark my words, it will soon grow on you. In time, you'll be owning their first album and loving that too. Then you'll get their second album and puke but that's another review...

So, if you've just now strayed onto this page and are looking at buying this cd of yesterday, I hope I have helped your decision-making. I would overall recommend it, but only for a few standout songs. The rest is just sub-par. Then again, I am not much of a rap fan but a rap/metal with emphasis on metal fan. So, decide for your own tastes. I do not think you will be overly disappointed at all.

This album, rare for alot of tribute albums, is actually pretty dope. I downloaded the track "Staind featuring Fred Durst and DJ Lethal of Limp Bizkit - Bring The Noise(Public Enemy/Anthrax cover)" and instantly I wanted this album. That song was only a part of this amazing CD. Dynamite Hack's Eazy-E cover of "Boyz-N-The Hood" is astounding. Its not heavy and loud, but has a nice acoustic guitar throughout the whole song. I guess you could call this a parody, but its my favorite track on the album. Insane Clown Posse(although a rap group) even appears. They do a cover of Sir-Mix-A-Lot's "Posse On Broadway". I'm a huge ICP fan and I think this track is alright but a little out of place on this album. Its still classic though. KMK, also known as the Kotton Mouth Kings, do a cover of the Getto Boys' classic, "Mind Playin' Tricks On Me". This song is awesome and is a great introduction to future KMK fans. Mindless Self Indulgence do a cover of Method Man's "Bring The Pain". This song is totally awesome if you like M.S.I. Factory 81, a band who I've never heard before, does the Cypress Hill hit, "Insane in the Brain". This song is okay, I like the screams but I don't think he has a good rap voice. =)> All in all, this album is awesome. I recommend it to the extreme rap/metal fans and even heavy metal fans. This is a great compilation...

I would have to claim this album to be one of the absolute best albums of all time!! I am about as all around in terms of music as you can get. I grew up on classic rock, rap, metal, classical, regea, oldies, country and even pop. This album is a great taster of some of the little known bands. The thought of taking some of the most classic rap songs and redoing them by these high potential up-and-coming groups is ingenious. This CD was my first experience with MSI, nonpoint, and factory 81. I have since fallen in love with the untapped greatness of each band. I even enjoyed the Staind song on the album and personally don't have much interest in the band. Dynamite Hack pulled off a miracle with Boyz, I didn't think that the song could ever be pulled off by anyone other than a rap group however they did it beautifully. Lets not forget the Clown's, KMKings, and even a little touch from the Jerky Boys, to round out this high quality CD.
I am very happy with the fact that this is a tribute by new rock musicians dedicated to old school rap. This album is proof that good new musicians will always find ways to press out from between the wastefulness of sellouts like Limp Bizkit and PapaRoach.
In finishing I would like to tell each and every one of you who are reading this review that you can't go wrong by buying this CD, you have gotten far enough to see my review you might as well buy it and see for yourself what a great album really sounds like. Since I bought this CD back in early 2001 I have passed it out successfully to more than a dozen friends with no complaints what so ever!! Very few CD's deserve 5 stars and in my opinion this deserves 5.5, but enough talk click buy, or at least find a friend who owns it.

absolutly disgracefull, it's been over a month and still not recieved the item I payed for, I think I'll have to review who I will do business with in the future as AMAZON suck! to say that I'm a little disapointed doesn't even come close, PISSED OFF would be still not close.

I just loved this song about sex. I loved it when I heard it on the radio, but since they stopped playing it, I had to find it on here, and bought it used through Amazon. I think it is a cool song with a good beat, not sure why it's hard to find anymore. The CD was alittle beat up, but it still played, and I love the song. I ripped it anyway to my laptop and player.

Pure enjoyment for all. HOORAY FOR BOOBIES varies from Hard rock to soft (white people) Rap,punk,pop even some crazy german tecno. With clever fastbeat and best of all funny lyrics that are going to turn heads. Whether you blast it out of your car, or just listen to it at work its bound to be enjoyed by all. I loved all but one track (yummy down on this)16/17 I would recommend this in any collection.

Alright, I won't bull_____ myself, I don't like the Bloodhound Gang as much as I used to. Well, I had no idea about much rock beyond classic, I was mostly into death metal at the time I bought this album. Sure, I have a less tolerance for radio rock during these days (You can only take power chords for so long), alright, but that doesn't mean this album still doesn't own.

When it comes to The Bloodhound Gang, this is their most known album. While it has that title, I really don't think it's one of their strongest albums, compared to the still masterful One Fierce Beer Coaster and the goofy, underrated as _______ Use Your Fingers (largely considered a flop). It's better than the follow up, Hefty Fine (yeah, no way that one could be a perfect recording), though. Still, the band is pretty much impossible to love, at least to like, in my eyes. People have different eyes though, so I can't say everybody.

This album is a glorious celebration of stupidity. But it's actually very clever and quite hilarious. The puns can probably be spotted easier than some bands, but that's alright, because at least they aren't pretentious to the point of annoying. The lyrics are easily as much of a star than the music. Some of these songs are rather stale sounding, such as Magnum Cum Laude, the awful cover, Yummy Down On This, and The Lap Dance is So Much Better... you know (it's an satricial song, sure, but sounds like a novelty). It's kind of difficult to attack the other tracks, but they do bring down the rating because I don't the tracks are still strong enough to get a higher rating.

BUT, man, these songs on here are awesome. The drummer really bangs out hard, funky grooves that you would be a fool not to dance to. The Bad Touch and The Great White whatever it is rips with some of the funkiest white boy "monkey beats" (their name for the drums), ever. Three Point One Four is hilarious, and somehow, that chord progression is infectious. The skits are pretty much useless, but clever as well. Some can get annoying (such as the Chasey Lane skit and the three second periods of silence), but only lighten the mood. It's easy to not feel happy when listening to this album.

You probably wouldn't find much to laugh at if you don't have a really juvenile side at all, but ________ that. Hilarious and clever, you'd be a fool to not give this a listen.

I just get a laugh when I hear younger kids talk about this album, they have no clue about most of the references in the lyrics. Just ask most about "right turn clyde" and they have no clue where this came from.

This album is great and funny. It's not for all ages cause the humour is very innapropiate but what the heck none of the songs are bad with the exception of "A Lap Dance..." which is long and boring. The skits are mainly funny except "This is stupid" and "R.S.V.P." The best songs are "Mope", "Along Comes Mary", "I Hope You Die", "The Great White Dope" and "The Bad Touch". And hey the guy who said bloodhound gang is stupid, you're a sucker. Bloodhound Gang rocks. If you don't like them get the hell outta here loser.

What's wrong with BHG? Besides everything? Is it possible for them to write more than one good song in their pathetic lives? My sister burned this CD from a friend, most likely because she likes the Bad Touch song, and I'VE been the one having to hear it in the morning when she's getting ready for school. It's pathetic. I don't know how much I can stress the word "pathetic", but it's the only way to fully describe it. Out of 18 tracks, there's one, count it, ONE good song, "The Inevitable Return of The Great White Dope", because it's nothing like their other songs. Everything else on this album is just like "Fire Water Burn", "The Bad Touch", "Hell Yeah", you get the picture. Palm-muted, droning, songs with extremely explicit lyrics, which is the only reason people will remember them. Isn't it about time to come out of the 13-16 year old stage? Having lyrics about sex won't get you any. Bands like Blink-182, Sum 41, and System of a Down have funny songs, but they have their limits.
About the "music": 1)Palm-muting doesn't make a song good. I get it. You can palm-mute. So can most people who play guitar or bass. 2)Make your music more diverse and varied, or at least change your patterns. Elastica's self-titled album has 4-chord patterns, except they play faster, and the songs aren't much longer than two and a half minutes long (not that I'm comparing BHG to Elastica). 3)Do what you do "best", and don't try metal. "Magna Cum Nada" is BHG's horrible attempt to make something metal-ish. Stop.
The problem with Bloodhound Gang is that they just won't die. People like them somehow, and so they feel compelled to squeeze out more and more crap that gets worse and worse as it progresses, not saying that they were ever good.

This is one of my favorite songs of BLOODHOUND GANG and probably my favorite of Hefty Fine with Pennsylvania.
The chorus is extremely catchy and incredible, when i heard this song for the first time i listen and listen again, this song is unique.

Seriously. Get over yourself. It's terrible, it isn't funny, and it's the same, godd*mn thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again!! SHUT UP!! The only different part of the song (that's different from their other songs) is when...um...I'm drawing a blank here...well, the video has Bam in it!...But he's a sellout...dang.
