Bodyrockers

I saw the video for the band's "I Like The Way" and knew the song thanks to one of those soda commercials, but I thought the boys had a little something to offer. During my initial run of the CD I thought it was pretty good but hasn't ever totally blown me away yet. I must admit the mix of dance rock they are doing is pretty catchy, but all in all nothing sticks to you, other than that catch all aforementioned single.

Very versatile group. Each track has it's own unique qualities and change-ups from the previous track. Will look forward to their 2nd album.

I love UK bands! This whole CD is wonderful for dancing and/or listening. The track "I like the way" was first released in 2004 and it's quite popular. Glad to have found it on Amazon.

This is an excellent album! It's worth every penny. If you don't move when you listen to this band it's because you are dead! Tremendous addition to my collection. Highly recommended.

I really wanted to like this album, a good friend of mine went nuts for it and made me give it at least one listen all the way through. Bodyrockers is reminiscent of older 80s & 90s bands like the other reviewers have been pointing out, for sure. The lead singer from Love and Rockets I think had some influence here, and Michael Hutchence too. Not sure if I spelled that right but it doesn't matter, because ultimately my opinion is that the CD isn't worth too much pondering. The tracks for the most part just sound like generic dance beats with way too much computerization (for my tastes anyway, I'm not into electronica.) I much prefer the sound of bands that make their music using actual instruments. So this was lost on me.

I really like the original version of "I like the way you move", it's a great song - dance/rock style that really gets you wanting to move around and have a dance. I wasn't too keen on the alternate mixed versions of the same song - it's like, why would you remix and change something that is already good. But the original version is great.

i heard this on tv during the 10 anniversary of Victoria's Secret fashion show...and never got the tune out of my head. in fact, i have kept that tape just to hear this song. i ordered this cd, and th eonly "flaw" i can say is that the "main/middle part" of the song must have been extended for the tv show version. but it is a fun tune and i like it a lot overall!

Just cos it has guitars doesnt mean its rock, its a club anthem championed by techno DJ Pete Tong which was a HUGE hit in Europe and UK even if it didnt deserve to.

I'm not a fan of rock but this song is very good! It doesn't have strong electro-pop constantly as it starts off quite quiet and it builds up to a steady sound. The music isn't constantly pounding away rock that hurts your head which is great!
The reason why I seem to like it is because they use that music for a TV Programme on Living TV! It's got me hooked this song! Take it from me, it's great, so buy it! #I LIKE THE WAY YOU MOVE!!!#
