Bonnie McKee

it's one a few rare album that I enough from the start to the end

I bought this after listening to the music samples on Amazon.
The cd is really good. If you like fun upbeat girl music check it out.
I especially like the last track.

Bonnie McKee puts in to words, so simply, what girls feel all the time. Theres vulnerability with songs like 'Sensitive Subject Matter' and 'Honey', then there's the bad girl songs like 'January' and 'Trouble' theres the whole 'get-what-I-want' bit with 'Voice That Carries', 'Confessions of A Teenage Girl' and 'When It All Comes Down'. The album is really great, and with more publicity, I'm sure it would have been the next big thing.

Whenever I play this album, people say, "Who is this? This is awesome." It deserves far more attention than it has gotten. You will not be disappointed. The whole album is great. Honey, When It All Comes Down, and Trouble are off the charts.

The style is rock-y, blues-y, but with modern rhythms. Well produced but not overly so.

So I think Bonnie McKee has a phenomenal voice, but I swear listening to her cd is tolerable for about 30 seconds / 1 minute and then I want to skip ahead the song, and then I'm doing it for almost every song on there..

I dunno.. that one song "Somewhere" is good. Which is I guess why it was put on the "win a date with tad hamilton" soundtrack. But I could easily listen to that one song and none of the others and not miss out on anything. So I can't really say it's worth it to buy this cd. I mean, it's not that she doesn't have talent when it comes to her voice. It's just that she doesn't have any talent when it comes to song writing or being interesting. Which somewhat defeats the purpose of making a cd I think. I dunno. When grammy winning people start writing songs for her to sing, and then mixing the tracks for her, maybe then I'd pick her up again. Until then pass on this cd.

The first time I heard this CD, I was blown away about how beautiful the girls of this choir sounded. If you have any taste in music, you must order this wonderful CD!

This is the best choir that I have ever heard! They should win grammy's. Jackson and Alameda Berkey are one of the greatest musical ensembles ever! This is really an All-Star group. The second altos are suprisingly Amazing!

"In A French Mountain Village" could be listened to forever. A CD that will never leave the CD player.

Way to go Seattle Girls' Choir! This new CD is fabulous, with beautiful music performed by talented young ladies! Cantate Domino, the fourth movement of Cantate 2000, is stunning, and Ascendit Deus is wonderful! Buy this CD and you will not regret it. It is probably the best CD released this year!

This single is really awesome. Bonnie mckee has a beautiful voice. And you really can relate to the lyrics of somebody. She is a really talented person, only 17 years of age and already wrote and composed her songs. This single is a must-have.

I saw her video for "Somebody" the other day and I fell in love with the song right away. Bonnie McKee has a beautiful and distinctive voice and she has a beautiful face to match. Her voice is very soulful and she weaves in a little gospel sound into her music. I already pre-purchase her new album. I can't wait to get it! Believe me she's going to household name soon.

I admit it, when I first heard Bonnie Mckee's song "Somebody," I didn't think much of it. Actually, I turned off the song halfway through. After reading about Bonnie again on a message board, I gave "Somebody" another chance. It's amazing.

The song starts out quiet with a piano. Bonnie starts singing, and both her voice and the lyrics are amazing. The song continues, and a the song gets more powerful than it had before. The drums kick in, an organ plays, and guitars play as well. A chorus chimes in with Bonnie, and eventually brings the song to a wonderful close.

Give this song a chance. You may grow accustomed to it, and learn to like it. I know I'll be buying the CD when it is released on September 28th. If you get to bonniemckee.com, give "Trouble" a listen as well.

This single is totally astonishing! Such a pleasant breath of fresh air from those other mainstream pop artists out there. I heard about Bonnie McKee from the movie, "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton" a few months ago, while watching the movie on the plane. I've been dying to find the artist ever since, and indeed, I've found her!

This single is simply breathtaking. First of all, the music combines piano, soft organ, and a gospel background, which further influences the lonely atmosphere of the song. As it moves to the peak of the song, guitar and percussion are added. However, before the song ends, we hear the piano and the organ in the background, reminding us of the loneliness. Not to mention Bonnie's voice being full of emotion! Most of all, the message is the thing I could relate to. You know, the theme of waiting for that "Somebody" to come along. Great song from a rising artist filled to the brim with potential - watch out for her!!

Bonnie has so much talent and individuality and her songs arent like other singers where you get really sick of there songs after awhile. Im from Seattle, and she is too and to see someone who can actually get a record deal AND and some serious talent is amazing to see. Get her cd and listen to it over and over or just find a way to listen to her songs! Shes great!
