This is my first Keith Urban CD. All I can say is Wow! He is good at ballads, western rock, you name it. He has a fantastic voice and wonderful musical arrangements

This CD brings all of Keith Urban's best together. I can listen to it over and over and never get tired of it! LOVE IT!

What a wonderful compilation of Keith's greatest hits! It is a joy to have them all in one spot! His gift of guitar, banjo, piano, voice, and writing are all here!!!! What a gifted man. Truly blessed by the hand of God!

Where is "Sunburned Country" ?! The rockin' anthem to the land down under with the stunning and fun country-mate Olivia Newton-John should have been here, it's never been on a Keith album!

This here is a VERY talented man! He has covered so many areas with this album. From the slow relaxing laid back kinda music, some toe tappin dance tunes and and a little Rock with with roll of dice. But I think if I had to pick a fovorite on this album, it would have to be Stupid Boy. Finally someone who sings about taking responsibility for his own mistakes, rather than sittin back blaming the one his heart hurts for. I am glad his wife didn't talk him COMPLETELY out of leaving the Country music field. He is a good compliment to the genre.

Keith has had better songs and content in my opinion. I love a couple of songs, but kinda felt the rest all seemed like downers and sounded a bit alike. I think his next album will be better.

LPATWCT is a good CD....I think he should have released a couple more of the songs as singles(FASTER CAR, SHINE or Used to the Pain for example) instead of "reaching back" to "You Look Good in My Shirt" from Golden Road for his current single....I think my favorite CD is BE HERE, but that's probably because it was the beginning of my "Keith Addiction" back in 2005....HE IS ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED PERFORMERS IN MUSIC TODAY (even better than his friend Kenny Chesney in my opinion)...He's one H*LL of a GUITAR PLAYER....Don't let the "Country Music" moniker fool you, he's a ROCK 'N ROLL, SWEAT SLINGIN' GUITAR GOD....If he's going to be near you with Kenny this summer (or even better with his own tour) you'll do yourself a HUGE favor by going to see this man....NO ONE has "moved" me like this guy since the BEATLES (dating myself I know)....HUGE TALENT....

Before giving you my view of the album, allow me to give you some insight on Keith as a musician and a person. As many know, Keith had a hard fight with substance abuse (as is told in his first album, "Golden Road"). He's had his share of heartache, which has given him wisdom and a clearer view of the reality of life. He is in touch with his feelings and emotions, and his music reveals that. His songs are simply brimming with descriptive and realistic feelings that draw the listener in. He offers a wide range of subjects in his songs: from carefree bliss to heartbreak to the quiet assurance of love. His style has evolved from your typical new country to boarderline rock. His newest album, "Love, Pain, and the whole crazy thing" combines his relatable songwriting abilities and his ever-changing style to produce an album of extraordinary talent.
There are enough keepers on this album to make it worth buying, but as is the case with every album, there are some duds and fillers, but that's to be expected.
Keith's fairly high vocals add a passion and depth to his music that you ordinarily don't hear much of in male country artists. And his rockin' guitar solos are back for another round. Rejoice all Urban fans!

My top track are these:
Stupid Boy - the most emotional song of the album and it also won a Grammy. When Keith pleads, "God, just let her know I'm sorry," you can hear the pain in his voice. Also his best guitar solo of the album.
Once In a Lifetime - a sweet love song almost similar to "Better Life" but not as giddy. Keith's songwriting talent really shines through. This one will be stuck in your head for days.
Everybody - once again Keith is back with those words of encouragement. He employs his signature style of gradual crescendos in this one from acoustics to a blast of guitars, drums and vocals. "Everybody needs somebody sometimes."
I Told You So - the lyrics aren't very deep, but the music is irrestibly catchy. I love rockin' to this one. You'll love it too.

As to the matter of comparison, I think I enjoyed "Be Here" slightly more. It was more upbeat and had catchier tunes and Keith stayed pretty conservative in his vocals and arrangements, but "LP+wct" is definetely worth getting.

This is an AWESOME album, all the songs are great!!! i recommend each family own this cd, you wont be disappointed!

It is a long-standing tradition in country music to get big stars to do gospel favorites and classic hymns. The results can often be quite mediocre (uninspired, overly sentimental, sloppy musical arrangements, etc.) or quite good (as with Johnny Cash). Happily, I would mostly put this collection in the latter category. This is largely a better version of the 2004 release, 'Amazing Grace, vol. 3' (also by Sparrow Records), which included six of the songs found on this collection:

These are largely the better tracks from the prior album, with Cyndi Thomson's rendition of "'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus" being the stand-out track in my opinion. The added tracks in this new collection are fantastic, including Lee Ann Womack at her finest in "Get Up in Jesus' Name" and a lovely, respectful version of "Amazing Grace" by Lari White. The arrangements on all the tracks are well-thought and the singing is sincere. My only disappointment is the leading track, "But For the Grace of God," by Keith Urban, which is a fine song but doesn't quite belong with the other, more traditional, songs.

This is a neat little compilation.
However, I'm not sure the tracks aren't better in context of the individual artists albums.

This was a perfect gift for my husband, however I think I have listened to it more!

This CD has good songs but some of the performances are not up to par. It is not one I will listen to very often.

I like Urban in a moderate way, but this was not my favourite album of his. Golden Road is better.

The third album by Keith Urban, "Be Here" puts me in a theme park on a giant roller coaster that makes me excited for further albums! Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic about the ride that this album provides, but still a little confused. The first few songs of the album make me want to live a better, more simplistic life with the most satisfying significant other I can possibly find in the world. As the ride continues to excel forward up the long, smooth sailing climb through the next few tunes with a grateful Urban, the coaster comes to a sudden halt and eases back towards the ground at around song 7 entitled "I could fly." It's all down hill from here. At first, the sudden decline is a little frightening, but somehow pleasing to the senses as the album goes through some incredible tracks such as "Tonight I Wanna Cry" and "Nobody drinks alone." Then, all of a sudden, Urban belts out "These are the Days" and the coaster goes right back up again and I'm ready for the next ride with the next album! Keith is an astonishing artist that grasps the ears of not just country listeners, but pop as well. He's created his own genre and continues to fulfill the needs of his listeners with "Be Here."

I consider this album by Keith Urban to be one of my all-time favorites. It is sweet, crisp and soulful. I love "Making Memories of Us" (a tender love ballad sure to be a hit at any wedding), featuring the lyrics "I'll Be A Man of My Word... Speak The Language in a Voice You Have Never Heard." For those in struggling relationships, there is "The Hard Way". Everybody's got their own way. Sometimes you'll have to do it the hard way.

Who hasn't wondered if working hard is worth it? In "You're My Better Half", there is a reassuring someone waiting at home with a "Come-Here-Baby smile, saying it's all gonna be alright".

I also love "These Are The Days". It makes reference to the fact that life is fleeting and that we should enjoy it because these days won't come again.

I fell so in love with this album that I bought two copies just in case something happened to the first copy.

"Be Here" also includes the words to the songs so that everyone can sing along with Keith.

I have recently realized how absolutely awesome Keith Urban's music is and decided to purchase Be Here as my first CD of his. I love it. Making Memories of Us is just one reason I could sit and listen to this CD for hours everyday. Great CD.

This song just makes me melt! This entire album is a great one to play while traveling, cuz every song is fantastic! You won't need to skip any!

I love this CD.. I originally bought this cd in the States 18 mths ago but lost it so re ordered it from Amazon..... very impressed with the service, I had received the CD in about a week which is great considering it was coming to Ireland...Would definitely order cd's again.

There are two terrific songs on this CD that I could listen to again and again. Raining on Sunday is a great relationship song about just taking time to be with the one you love instead of letting the real world catch you up and take you away from the most important person in your life. And You'll Think of Me is just a great song about how you still find yourself thinking of people even when they are long gone from your life. Anyway...this entire album is great and worth buying or downloading. Those just happen to be two of the best country (rock-ish) songs with great guitar sections. You won't be disappointed.

I heard him on xm and I really loved one of his songs and then I listened to the album. That was the only decent song on there and then I realized he was from australia. Not what I was used to I guess. I tried listening to it a few times but it never caught me.

Golden Boy Keith Urban sings it like it is... don't miss this one... It's a must have for anyone!

I have to say this one is my favorite Keith Urban album and it's got his most well known songs that skyrocketed his career into where he is right now. Hey the guy has got great guitar talent and melody! Listen to the guitars in "Somebody Like You" and "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" - Urban's pretty rock n roll influenced too! If you're into some great guitar driven pop-like country you'll love Keith Urban. "Golden Road" to me is his golden CD.

this is one of the best greatest hits CD's ever! literally every song on this CD is great, so no wounder its his greatest hits! its really good and i love it!

I never really listened to country music but went to see Keith Urban in concert because I was told he was "fun". He was fun! I bought the greatest hits cd because I enjoyed him so much in concert...I love every single song! It's fun to listen to and puts me in a good mood. I would recommend it to everyone, country music fan or not!

His songs have a gaelic pressence to them which I really enjoy. His music is wonderful and makes me feel great.

I was very please with this CD. I bought it to be played in my up and coming wedding. The CD had all of the loving songs that Keith Urban is known for. So glad I bought it!

I just got this album and I really love it. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as Keith's later albums. I don't know what the reviewer on this site is talking about. If you like Keith Urban you will enjoy this album.

What can I say? It's Keith Urban! The man is hot and he can sing. The album is really good. I had heard some of the songs before but didn't realize they were on this album. I thought Golden Road was his first album. But for the Grace of God and Where the Blacktop Ends are two of the best songs on the album but they are all good. If you are a Keith Urban fan this album is a must!

"Where The Blacktop Ends" is a favorite on this CD; I want to go barefoot just listening to it! "But For The Grace of God," "Your Everything," "It's A Love Thing," and the instrumental "Rollercoaster," make this CD a favorite for listening to anytime. Personally, I like to listen to this CD as I go to sleep at night. There's just something awesome about listening to Keith Urban's mellow voice crooning as you drift off to sleep that is very soothing. As I find typical of Keith Urban's music, there isn't a single song on this CD that I don't like. The instrumentation is exceptionally fine, as well as diverse. There's something on this CD for those who like the slow, ballad type songs, as well as for those who like the "southern" rock/country style. I purchased this CD after already loving "Golden Road" and "Be Here," so it was a "given" that I'd enjoy this cd as well.

I love this cd. It holds up to the typical Keith Urban standards.

I have been an avid Keith Urban listener since his first album. When I saw that he had an older album out, I thought I'd give it a try. I was leery, because I know that sometimes the early albums arn't as honed as an artists more well known albums.

But I must say, that Keith was as great as he is now. More country than his newer albums, but still great by any means.

This album also covers a well loved song sung by the Dixie Chicks also, Some Days You Gotta Dance. This is actually a better version in my opinion. Keith just brings pure joy to any song that he sings.

There really isn't a bad song on this album. It's very up beat and makes you want to tap your toes.

It's deffinately worth getting to add to your collection. It's guaranteed to put you in a better mood than you were before you listened to it!

This album is highly overlooked in my opinion. It's a fabulous album. Why it never took off is beyond me! It is a wonderful album. I have everyone of Keiths Cd's and am so glad that I ended up adding this one to my collection. My favorite songs on this album are "Some days you gotta dance", "Walkin' the country", "just some love","homespun Love." They all are really good, but those are the ones I like the best. Don't pass this album up, it's truly a terrifc album that you will reach for again and again. Experience the early Keith Urban. This is where his real roots are. He will only continue to expand on this in the coming years. Lets make this one a platinum one for Keith!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love this cd. Every song is unique and has a great beat. The musicianship is outstanding and I love the extra songs & videos. I give this cd a 5.

just a quick note to share with all of you that when Miles Copeland got involved with Keith and the guys, the intention was, in fact, to try and create a sort of country flavored Police, because of Copeland's Police connection...It didnt turn out that way and Keith has made a pretty big solo name for himself, but I think the guys definitely could have filled an interesting niche....and just so you know, I admit outright that I have a vested interest as my friend Cyril Rawson and I wrote "Just Some Love" which the guys did so nicely on the record...I hope they get rediscovered to the point that Cyril and I can write our next hit for them in our beach houses in Malibu!!...in the meantime, best of luck to them all...and I hope all of you enjoy the CD.........

I bought for my daughter, she calls him monkey man. It's a wonderful CD, great guitar work. Not at all a request I'd expect from a 10 year old. There is significant contrast between song selections. This guy suprised me from the start, excellent vocal range, emotional performances and turned out to be quite a looker. I didn't know anything about him and was wanting the concert to be over before we even got in the door, but after he came out... we were one of the last ones to leave. It was a cool December night in 2007 but he had the driver stop and signed autographs in his P.J.'s from the bus window. He even thanked us for comming. What a man, what a show! Give him a listen, you won't be sorry.

I have been a Keith Urban fan for many years and own all of his CD's. I bought this for a friend's birthday. She has been a fan for only a year and this and "The Ranch" are the only CD"s she did not own. Now she has a complete set of 6 and I have 2 complete sets of 6.

For all KU fans, this album is a must have. Even at age 24, you can hear that "international star" quality in his voice. The production elements are less polished, but his abilities...both vocally and instrumentally...are clearly evident. It took awhile to receive the album since it is an "import"...certainlly not received as quickly as most Amazon orders...but DEFINITELY worth the short wait. Several of the songs are real "keepers," and if he would update and reissue them, they would be more #1 hits to add to his growing list.

I argued with myself over and over if buying the album or not, but it is really worth buying it! Somebody else wrote, you can hear the young Keith, and that's it. It is different to what he does now, but it is Keith Urban, much more softer music than "Once in a lifetime" but in my opinion it is just great music.

WOW....I thought I loved Keith now....getting this 1991 CD was so refreshing!!! I can't believe this guy didn't become a star 15 years ago. I absolutely love this cd....you can sense all his vulnerabilities back then....a lot of passion for a 25 year old guy. Great song writing....with profound lyrics.
