Luis Miguel is classy and a legend. He has received some negetive comments about his latest CD, but I think its a great CD and its Luismi!! He sticks to his style of music and it works for him. He dosnt comform and he still sells out concerts and dishes out the hits & wins awards for his music. Ive been a fan for 20 years now,We Luis Miguel fans like him just the way he is..Dont Change or Conform!! Why fix something thats not broken?

Like everything Luis Miguel sings COMPLICES is a beautiful music CD. Absolutly recomended!I love it!

I love Luis Miguel , i fell in love with him , his voice , his music , everything and he never disappoints me .This CD is just one more source of pleasure for me and all his fans, all the songs , his unique voice, the way he makes you feel as though he is singing just for you with all his heart and soul, he just keeps on giving something different, i love him!!and the songs he produces on his albums are the material he uses in his fabulous concerts and so the up tempo songs are great i say Gracias! Luis for another fantastic album , i cannot stop playing it .

I have been a fan of Luismi my whole adult life starting with Aries and this is probably one of his best albums. I don't really care for the fast songs but the ballads are intense and passionate. I love that multiple songs have a very Spanish influence to them. I went to see him in concert a couple weeks ago and he played a number of these songs, this prompted me to buy the CD. So well worth it. LOVE IT and LOVE HIM.

I purchased this disc through Amazon for my wife who loves this guy. I must say we both enjoyed listening to this all season long. My wife is from Mexico and is always looking for good, quality Christmas music in spanish. This exceeded her expectations.

I have never purchased a cd by Luis Miguel that I didn't like every song -- this one is included. Excellent holiday cd!

i was kind of skeptical when i heard that luis miguel was going to do a christmas album with english covers translated into spanish, but now i have an album that i plan to play for many christmas's to come.luis has taken these christmas classics and given them his own personal touch, and it works. from upbeat tunes such as " va a nevar" and "santa claus llego a la ciudad" to ballads such as " te deseo muy felices fiestas" and "estare en mi casa esta navidad" luis proves once again his versatility as an artist. Going with the whole big band theme was a great choice for luismi. it suits him perfectly. a definate must own for fans of luis miguel and anyone who enjoys his music.

Just when you think it can't get any better, Luis Miguel singing christmas songs. His classic, smooth voice will make this a classic cd to cherish throughout the years. I wasn't sure if I would like this cd but now I know it is a CD to cherish for years. It couldn't have come at a better time. Christmas songs sung in a classic tradition! AWESOME!!

I FIRST HEARD THIS CD IN A RESTAURANT AND FELL IN LOVE WITH THE VOICE. ALTHOUGH I DON'T SPEAK SPANISH, THE WORDS SEEM TO STIR SUCH PEACEFUL AND LOVING FEELINGS IN ME.

Luis Miguel voice is magical and I speak little spanish. His songs smooth the soul and is very relaxing. Buy it you won't be sorry.

I used to be a romatic guy when I was very young, but then I switched to a more upbeat type of music when I got older (age crisis?) Well, this CD really brought back the old romantic guy I was. If you claim being a romantic one, then this must be in your collection. I love to play it and dance with my wife, even in front of our boys, so they know what true romance is. Perfect for baby-making nights, it will relax you and get all the right senses ready. Yeah!!

Oh how his voice gives me emotional goose bumps.I cannot speak or understand spanish,but my heart takes care of this short coming.The voice is warm,romantic,soothing to my soul with orchestration to die for.To my English speaking friends go ahead and get this classic,your heart will thank you.

What music, what an artist! My husband and I were at the Radisson in Miami, sitting at the bar and waiting for an open table for dinner. I heard this "music" coming from the speakers, it gave me goosebumps! I asked the bartender who it was singing and he said Luis Miguel. Well, I was hooked from then on. It's been 5 yrs. since that night and I've got I believe just about every CD he's made. I find myself singing along to all the songs, learning & speaking a little Spanish too! The songs he sings in Spanish sound so much more romantic than when you hear them in English, at least I think so. The bartender saw how much I loved the CD, he played it again just for me! I think Luis is wonderul and I plan to see him in concert if he ever comes my way. My husband even likes his songs. I personally would rate this 10 Stars if I could!

This is truly an exceptional piece of work. I can see why it was awarded a Grammy. A listener must understand that Luis was one of the primary arrangers of the songs, that is, these are very famous international love songs from a different, more refined time. Each one has been "covered" to relfect Luis' own musical style and interpretation. If you listen carefully or frequently enough, you will hear the subtleties behind each presentation; some are quite delicate in the use of brass or strings, woodwinds, etc. Luis' voice is a classically trained voice and very, very precise. This is an elegant, romantic, and timeless album.

I recommend to anyone that wants some really good Boleros this is the Album you need to listen too. Romance is a Great Album filled with really Powerful Songs. The songs I really loved from this album is "No Se Tu" "Contigo En La Distancia" "La Puerta" and so on. This album is truly a Masterpiece.

No soy un fan de Luis Miguel ni un admirador, difícilmente compre un disco suyo. Pero entiendo que hay que ser justos, este es un disco muy válido, perfectamente logrado. Cuando hace ya mas de una decada recibí este disco como un regalo, lo habré escuchado un par de veces y hasta hace pocos dias, quedó lisa y llanamente descartado en mi colección. Creo que detestaba este trabajo. Pero cuando lo volví a encontrar, decidí darle otra oportunidad, y ahi me di cuenta que estuve equivocado. Es un disco que ha dado nueva vida al bolero, lo ha modernizado, y fue un factor de difusión decisivo. Creo que gran parte del resultado se debe al trabajo de producción de Armando Manzanero, impecable por donde se lo mire, lo mismo que los arreglos de Bebu Silvetti. Con estos ingredientes se ha logrado un disco muy agradable de escuchar, balanceado, y si bien no es perfecto, sí deja una sensación de que cada uno de los que han intervenido en su grabación y proceso puso lo mejor de sí.
Las canciones incluidas son joyas indiscutibles, pero a mi entender los puntos mas altos están en "Inolvidable", "Contigo a la distancia", "Te extraño" y "La Puerta". El resto no desentona para nada.
El unico punto que hoy resulta discutible es la calidad de la grabación, que si bien a su tiempo era impecable, hoy, cuando ya pasó mas de una década y media desde su lanzamiento (1991), no parece tan buena, y quizás este es un asunto que tiene solución con las técnicas actuales de remasterización.
En suma, no me atrevo a llamarlo una obra maestra, pero si un trabajo muy recomendable que marcó a fuego una época en la que el bolero renació para el gran público.

This has got to be the best production Luis Miguel has ever put out. Song selection is great, and orchestration is extraordinary. This is my all time LuisMi favorite, hands down

This is Luis Miguel's breakthrough into romantic ballads and one of the best cd's you will own. It won't matter if you don't speak spanish because the music transcends language barriers.

Even though it is over ten years old now, the music does not sound dated as the arrangements are timeless.

Those that enjoy this kind of music are well aware of the magic it holds.
Any Fan of Andres Segovia can tell you that there is a wonderful transportive Quality that exits there and is difficult to recreate in other forms of music in the same way. I think the music on this disc is quite nice and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Acoustic guitar Music!

One of my favorite instruments to listen to is the classical guitar. I currently have all of Terry Muska's CDs in my collection. These CDs are relaxing and inspiring and I often listen to them when I am drawing or webdesigning.

I have been a fan of the Romeros for over 30 years. Pepe is now in his 60's and is as great as he ever was.

His father left a blessed legacy to the world when he shared his love of classical guitar and his incredible talent with his sons.

Angel has taken another route in music. But Pepe chose to stay with the guitar and the musical world has been and continues to be enriched by him.

Pepe Romero's tribute to his late father Celedonio is not only a beautiful celebration of the life of one of the most important guitarists ever, but a great triumph simply on the merits of the pieces presented and the performances thereof. Of particular interest are the heartfelt renderings of transcriptions of piano works by Schumann, Brahms, Schubert and Chopin; while the Romero family has always taken pains to make sure the world has the opportunity to enjoy the riches of the Spanish guitar repetoire, Pepe's beautiful performances of the transcriptions referred to above allow him to display the full breadth of his musical understanding. I can't add too much to what as already been said in praise of this wonderful CD. Pepe is brilliant. I recently saw him in concert and his confidence with the instrument blew me away. I have never seen such confident, fluid, beautiful movement on the classical guitar. And it comes out in the music.

My wife is a fan of Luis Miguel. When I saw this 2 CD set I had to get it for her as a surprise. The one surprised was me. I think Luis Miguel is one of the very best male vocalists alive today. His sheer power and mastery of music is outstanding. His CDs sound like his concerts. He belts it out with all he has when he sings live.

I recommend this CD for guys to buy for their wives and girlfriends. It will really go a long way as a gift. If you saw the Luis Miguel concert, it will bring back a really enjoyable concert experience.

I already own all the Romances CD's so I was a bit skeptical about buying Luis Miguel's Greatest Hits CD because many of the songs I already have. However, after thinking about it for a couple of weeks I went ahead and bought it anyway because the track list looked great. I have to say that I am beyond impressed with the quality of this CD. The old songs must have been re-mastered because they all sound amazing, the production is impeccable and the choice of songs couldn't be any better. It has quickly become my favorite CD and I've been listening to it over and over again.

If you like Luis Miguel this CD is a MUST and if you are looking to buy one of his records for the first time, this is certainly the one to get, satisfaction guaranteed!

From "Cuando Calenta El Sol" to "Que Seas Feliz", miguel displays a versatility unmatched in latin music, exploring the genres of mariachi, boleros, and pop music. this is a must have for any admirer of luis miguel's music, and anyone who has yet to enjoy his artistic talent.

This is the second part of 4, of luis miguel's bolero's albums, is really good, I think it is a classic cd, this definetly is a Must have.

This great collection of ballads is the second in the "Romance" series, and is performed impeccably by Luis Miguel, who many consider to be the # 1 singer in Latin music today.

The arrangements are lush and lovely, though perhaps because of the absence of producer/arranger/pianist extraordinaire Bebu Silvetti, doesn't have quite the luster of the 1st and 3rd in the series, which he brought his distinctive magic to...nevertheless, it's a delight hearing these songs so beautifully done, some from years gone by like the incredibly melodic "Historia de un Amor". Other favorites include "Sin Ti", and "El Dia que me Quieras" which includes a nifty bandoneón solo (by Jorge Travisano).

I recommend getting this as part of the 3 disc set, "Todos los Romances". # 3, "Romances", is one of my top 10 favorite Latin music CDs, a classic I never tire of, and # 1 includes the amazing "Te Extraño"...each disc the perfect music for reverie and romance, and an example of that rare thing called "excellence".

"Segundo Romance," the CD by Luis Miguel, is an excellent collection of Latin music. All the songs have Spanish lyrics. These songs are mellow, romantic ballads with a lush, classy orchestral backing. Luis Miguel performs each selection with a gentle, but smoldering, passion.

My favorite songs on this disc are "Sin ti," "La media vuelta," and "Delirio." This is a wonderful CD that should come with the following warning: It may cause listeners to start passionately kissing somebody!

It's easy to understand why this 2nd CD in his Bolero Triligy won Luis Miguel his 3rd Grammy in 1995 and assisted in his being named Best Latin Artist of the Year in 1995 by The World Music Association. His perfect voice alone would sell this album. . .but wait, feel the music (especially the bolero tunes), let the words of these romantic ballads fill your mind - causing your heart to sing - your lips will soon follow for who can resist this Latin King?

Luis Miguel is extremmely proud of his Mexican roots and on this CD it shows. Luis Miguel does a more than adequate job singing these traditional Mexican ballads. It is a must have, for those who love mariachi music!

This is a good cd, but the next edition (Edicion Diamante) has the same sons an 2 plus more, well both cd are great.

His great voice makes all the songs very special. Only L.M. can sing like this. Puedo sentir su alma y corazon en todas las canciones. Gracias
