Now, onto Marques! This album is by far one of the very best since Immature/IMx and MH! It shows how he is maturing and experiencing what men go through. Their sexual appetite. I think it's sexy and nothing different from any other R&B male that bares their body! (hint hint D'Angelo, Usher Pretty Ricky go see one concert!)

Anyway, my favorite on this album is Everything! It is one of the most meaningful songs since Please Don't Go and All Alone. This song he really goes all out trying to express how much he loves this girl, that with all honesty no matter if they broke up or not I am jealous over this! He said "Girl you make whole you are my sister soul", I love it! I have every album from Immature to Imx Greatest hits.

Marques was always the stand out and I'm glad he's getting all the fame and money because those dudes never really added anything to the group. Kelton/LDB don't even greet his fans or try to touch their hands. All ego and he can't even sing! LOL! I stood there and watched, him treat some girls like that, all I could think is, thank god that's not me!

I still dream of meeting Marques, and just telling him how much I appreciate him keeping his music alive. When I am down his voice is so comforting, he gives me something to think about even if it doesn't happen. I have Veteran his new album also, my favorite songs are Circle and Miss Being Your Man. They are all day repeat songs. Keep up the good work Marques and congrats on debuting #1 for Veteran! Enjoy the success!

Since you want to be naked....you may want to get into modeling cause you obviousaly are out of musical talent. I guess if you don'tl have a couple of little boy toy homies backing you up you really don't have much to offer. Jesus man each song sounds exactly like the other one...I really can't tell them apart. Wow he went from B2K to B2U(Being 2 Unorginally). Come on stop putting out CD's. I haven't seen this type of musical embarrassment since Ray Jay and even he has stopped so why don't you too. You like being naked and Ray Jay just put out a porn video with his ex, so maybe you two oversexed weirdos can come up with something.

Overall it is a fairly good album. Marques Houston has grown into a fine young man. I am just as old as Marques Houston so I can remember his Immature days. In my opinion, there are very few songs that are worth being listened to over and over and some that are not. The tracks that I like are as follows:

Wow, I never thought I would've found an R&B album worse than Omarion's debut until I finished listening to this album's samples on Amazon. "Naked", Marques Houston's spohomore effort, is undoubtedly the worst R&B album I have ever heard in a long while.

I apoligize for sounding harsh, but think about it. Where's the talent? Where's the skill? What about the heart & soul? Where's the musical ambition? What about meaningful lyrics & nice beats? Where's his dignity? Where's hist artistic growth? I'm betting he threw all that & so much more out the window along with his tacky clothes. Marques, take this into account...YOU'RE NOT USHER AND YOU NEVER WILL BE, SO STOP TRYING!

I honestly tried really hard to force myself to like his song "All Because Of You", but I just couldn't convince myself to do it. There's not a single song on this entire album that has any true emotional depth. His other singles, "Naked" & "Sex Wit You" are absolutely pathetic attempts at explicit sexuality, with egomaniacle, ridicuously retarded videos to boot. As if the cheesy, sexual come-ons & emotionally devoid ballads were hard enough to bare, you have miserable club tunes to complain about here & there.

Marques Houston is a perfect example of why R&B goes downhills nowadays. Anybody with a slight fraction of a brain would be aware that he has no talent, and relies on his ugly mug & flabby gut to seek the attention of ditsy tween girls worldwide. Skip this album at ALL COSTS (AND I MEAN THAT LITERALLY)!

The way this guy sounds is so sexy. He knows What the Ladies want to hear. My favorite song on the album is "Naked". It is the ringtone for my cell phone.

When Immature burst onto the scene back in 1992 it was always clear that Marques was the star of the group. When Marques finally went solo eleven years one had to wonder would have success like Ralph Tresvant & Michael Jackson or would he flop like Marc Nelson and Tony Thompson? Luckily Marques had success like the former singers. The first single That Girl written by a young Ne-Yo & produced by R. Kelly received little acclaim however his second single Clubbin was a huge hit stateside & overseas. While the second single Pop That Booty didn't catch on in the states it fared very well in the UK. The only ballad single released from the album was Because Of You, which is ironic because the strength of the album in the ballads. Marques excels on Cancel & Good Luck but the sweet Can I Call You & honest Love's A Game is where Houston effortlessly flexes his considerable vocal skills the most effective. Marques Houston is well on his way to being one of the better singers in R&B and is one of the few singers actually doing something right in the Genre.

Former lead singer of Immature Marques "Batman" Houston brings us his self-titled debut, "MH". His voice has never been anything grand, but this is the first time I was able to hear his vocal ability and take a good listen to his voice. After I took an intense listen, it adds credence to my opinion. He does not sound as good as most of his contemporaries. In all honesty, his voice isn't even good. When an artist has a below average voice, it is imperative that they produce the best material possible. And with, "MH", this request was not fulfilled.

Collectively, this album had mediocre production, alright lyrics and an average job vocally by Houston. This is a CD I would toss to the side after a listen. "I Can Be the One" is one out of a sea of ordinary tracks. With this song, Houston is bragging about all that he can be to a woman. Lil' Fizz added his sorry touch to "Actin' Up". Neither of the artists did a good job on this song. The lyrics and production are corny. The production of this song sounds recycled, like something R. Kelly (who produced much of this album) has already done. "Because of You" is the only memorable song on this album. Everything is great about it. Houston put much emotion into the song, which only made the meaningful lyrics sound better. Overall, its a very good mid-tempo track. "Pop That Booty", "Clubbin'", and "That Girl" were all released from this LP. The public enjoyed these songs because they received much airplay. I enjoyed "Clubbin'" the most, and Joe Budden definitely helped with that. That's one of today's best rappers and he spit fire on this track. The other two releases were just not good.

Houston needs to step his game up because a lot of his competitors create better music than this. If he wants a better review for his other works, he should try to step outside of the box a little, because by him attempting to "fit in", its simply making me forget about him. Keep this one on the shelves.

I remember this album when I was in the 11th grade. I love this CD. It has hot joints and slow numbers. This album is about his personal feelings and situations he has been in. This album displays his vocal maturity. He took his writing and producing abilities to a new level with this release. This album should have been promoted more. Remember,this was 2003-2004.

I love this CD, one of the best CD's I have in my collection. Marques has been doing his thing for so long now. I use to listen to him in his Immature/IMx days and still love him like I did back them.

I bought this album just beacause favorite girl is a " GREAT" song.
Then I was surprised that I liked about 4 other songs. I wish the cd was edited though I am not a fan of cussing.

A+ on the CD I purchased.. the amount of time it took to deliver it was wonderful...I had it it the next day!!!

Ever since I have heard this album, I have had it on loop. There aren't any filler tracks on this CD. Every song
is a stand-out track; from the lovely "Always & Forever" to the haunting "Circle" to the sweet "Favorite Girl" &
"Wonderful", to the sexy "Kimberly" to the blissful "So Right for Me" to the sweetly-sad "Miss Being Your Man", there is a song for all "seasons." All the songs have substance (mostly of the romantic nature) & sung in Marques Houston's distinctive voice, which one could listen to all day. "Veteran" is that rare album for me that I can highly recommend to anyone.

if Marques Houston could sing then "Naked" would have worked big time. the music had a D'angelo"Untitled"/Old Prince vibe to it. but Marques Houston just doesn't bring a vocal performance that would have matched the music&the overall vibe he was going for.

Marques Houston (MH) is soooo underrated. All 3 of his solo albums (MH, Naked, and Veteran) are a ten. I promise you can listen to whole album without having to fast forward. If you haven't heard him since he left Immature and IMx and think that he's kiddie, you are COMPLETELY wrong. I mean the title of the album should tell you he's all grown up. Notable tracks: Naked, Sex Wit You, and Everything. It's a must have if you call yourself an rnb fan.

This is the best CD that has come out this year because of his voice. I just love when he hit high notes, I go Krazy. I love all the songs esspecially the slow ones. Just get the CD and you'll see what I mean. He is soooooooooo talented but soooooooooo underrated. Peace & Love.
