They are my favorite band... and this cd was just another example of how multi-faceted these boys are.

This release is absolutely the best version of any Post-Grunge sound that I have heard in a while. Seether has for the most part taken over as the leaders of this type of sound and should remain there barring any "Corporate" involvement. I recommend this cd to anyone who is into this type of music.

Was looking for this CD at my local music stores & couldn't find it, Knew about Amazon.com did a search & there it was, simple!

I never knew how awesome the "Post-Grunge" sound was until I came across Seether. I am HOOKED and hopefully not to late. "Karma and Effect" has a great sound of which I can't stop listening.

I picked up this CD a month ago, and have tried many times to listen to it, but I haven't even finished the CD yet. I find it bland and boring and will probably return it.

If you like Seether and don't own this album then what are you waiting on? This is an awesome album, I listen to it over and over again. Not only do you get 20 great songs, but you get a pretty neat dvd to. The dvd features music videos for "Broken" "Gasoline" "Fine Again" and "Driven Under" plus a Making of video for "Broken" not only does it feature those videos, it also features a full lenth concert.

The music overall is good. It is fairly typical of the post-grunge music of the day, but the singer and lyrics make it a little better than your typical run of the mill group. The dvd was a nice touch since it had videos and a live performance. Worth the money.

I think that Dicclaimer II with bonus DVD is awsum with extra songs a concet and video clips its value for money. I thought the original was good this is awsum. Just like to add SEETHER you rule!!!

Just an ok album, but a must have if you want Broken with Amy Lee.

A great sound of metal and a great blend of rock adds to this perfect cd. songs such as Fine Again and Broken make this a cd full of heart ache, but songs such as Gasoline and Fxxx It make a cd full of hatred and anger. It is a ccd you will love and most likely cherish.

If you are a true Seether fan or just like a couple of their songs or if you are just a fan of acoustic music you will not be disappointed with this CD my only complaint with this CD is I wish it was a full length live album when I buy live music I enjoy hearing everything like the segments where the band just talks on stage and to the fan it just goes into each song one after another...also the dvd kinda bummed me out some of the special features are cool but the dvd concert is the same as the cd no extra songs so thats kinda a disappointment but owell still a great cd.

I'm very picky when it comes to CDs. Most CDs and DVDs that I used buy would collect dust. While a select few would be played over and over. I like Seether a lot and I love unplugged music. So, I ordered this CD. This CD is definitely a keeper and is currently in my car.

It's great to hear a band that can really rock when playing live... If you like bands such as Staind, you'll love this one.

This is great. Especially if you love Seether like I do. The dvd makes it that much better. I love that they put Tied My Hands from the saron gas days on the disc. Definitely worth the money...

Was not bad but I was hoping that the CD had the song Broken on it with Amy Lee.

You wouldn't even know that this was a live production. The recording quality is so good that some songs sound better than the studio version. There is almost NO interaction between the band and the audience. Usually live recordings offer insight into the inspirations for certain songs or lets on to what songs the band is particularly fond of and why. You will not find any such indications on this album. The overall tone is melancholy, but it is powerful none the less. If you're a fan of the band, definitely worth purchasing.

The CD arrived right away. It was in perfect condition. I was surprised, it was better than I thought. I had only heard the one song Rise above this. The whole CD is excellent. It was more than just a one hit wonder.

My Boyfriend loves this cd I got it for him for his birthday. He is into heavy weightlifting and him and his friends just rock out to it. Excellent buy

This is one of the better soundtracks out there, not like most where you get the odd track you know, It has a very good mix of bands and a few new bands too me. Great CD.

I love this CD. It is deep and full of mind tingling thoughts. A lot of power, emotion and energy is recorded here.

I was sent Seether, Disclaimer II, a red labeled CD I do not know if it is the one my husband asked for or not... I won't know until Christmas morning! It doesn't look the the album cover that is shown here.

In a world where you can't go 10 minutes without hearing a Nickelback tune on the radio, Seether is there to offer an in-your-face answer to the formulaic approach that so many bands are using.
Now, I have nothing against Nickelback as a band, but they are extremely overplayed.
Their name is very appropriate, because they are seething with intensity, anger, and emotion. They had a handful of hit songs on this cd, most notably "Fine Again", but it is a very strong cd. If you want some hard rock with some real attitude and energy, I would check these guys out. Also, their second disc, Karma and Effect, is just as good.

I love this band. I love every song and I love Shaun Morgan's voice. These guys in are awesome in concert too. I do like Broken but I've heard it so much that I got tired of hearing it. Pride is my favorite song and The Gift. I recommend it to everyone.

Shaun Morgan's voice is not like anyone else out there that I've heard (and maybe that's my fault but bear with me). The guitars while being atypically heavy still don't sound like most bands that I've heard. Now on to the album no more whining :).

1.Gasoline=Absolutely hilarious song about superficial women, I actually laugh when I'm singing along to this one. I think Morgan is right on with how he characterizes women who think the only way to make them pretty is to listen to others and wear lots of makeup.

2.69 Tea=This one is also pretty funny. At one point Morgan sings "Don't tell me that you're bedwetters, I don't care if you are". Mostly about being crazy but not caring what others think about who you are, love the guitars throughout the song.

3. Fine Again=One of the hits on this album. About alcoholism but the chorus is very uplifting and the breakdown is great as well. Morgan's voice isn't exactly on display here (like it is more prominently on Karma and Effect) but it still seems pretty good to me.

4. Needles=My second favorite song on the album. A lot of negative feelings that I can't really describe are in this song, it is pretty heavy and full of some nice screams. Favorite lyric: "Let me stick my needles in and let me hurt you again."

5. Driven Under=Another one of the hits. Slow burning and about a bad relationship with a woman. Although I think they could've shaved off about 30 40 seconds off this one, I don't skip any songs on any cd I have anyway and this one is very good if you're in the right mood.

6. Pride=A very good example of what Seether can do. Mixes melody and the harsh grating sides of metal. I sense some sadness in these lyrics: "Steal my pride, leave me blind" as if Morgan is saying I tried being nice to you but you screwed me over anyway.

7. Sympathetic=They should've released this as a single. It was listed as one of the songs on the CD's that are supposed to be the hits. Morgan seems to finally put down some of the walls and show that he cares about others.

8. Your Bore=The anger in this one slowly creeps up. It's pretty heavy but it's no Needles or F888 It. This lyric sums it up pretty well: "Cuz I can't seem to show you what you want to see, I can never give you anything you need, I'm sick of wasting time on what can never be, I cannot control you into wanting me."

9. Fade Away=My apologies for gushing because I absolutely love this song, it is my favorite Seether song. The guitars start off slow then become heavier once the song gets going the second time around. I like this one because it starts off positive but this lyric makes it almost ironically depressing: "Today's the day we'll all fade away". Almost as if Morgan realizes that regardless of how hard he tries he might still come up short.

10. Pig=Similar to Needles as Morgan is basically insulting those who are overtly selfish because it perhaps upsets him because he tries to care but others don't.

11. F888 It=No real explanation really needed for this one. Very angry and pretty short as well. This album almost couldn't have got a Parental Advisory label if this song was removed. Best lyric: "I cannot please you all forever I cannot please you at all".

12. Broken=Since ruined by Amy Lee's relationship with Shaun as they remade this song and screwed it up. Perfect just the way it is on here and my third favorite song on the album. All acoustic and summed up best by this lyric: "Cuz I'm broken when I'm open and I don't feel like I am strong enough".

Overall rating here 10 out of 10. However I love all the music I have so I give that for every album I have. However if you like nu-grunge (Smile Empty Soul, old Puddle of Mudd, old Nickelback, etc.) this is worth checking out.

saron gas is seether's old band. the singers real last name is welgemoed( which is written in the inlay) they started playing in clubs that i used to go to and i actually saw them a few times before they were signed. they are by far the best modern hardrock band in the world and have real catchy qaulity songs. keepeing it real for everyone back home in south africa!!! go boys!!!!

This Compact Disc is a must have for any fan of Seether, or any fan of Grunge. This CD sounds like Early Nirvana, and it is just Early Seether. Its really not that expensive, I got mine for 28$, 4$ for shipping and Handling. Its one of my proudest Buys. It has GREAT songs on it, that arent on any Seether Album. It truly Shows Seether's progression as a band.

This song originally was amazing, just by Seether alone. Bringing Amy Lee into the picture makes the song sound so much worse, because her voice always sounds the same and makes the song sound way worse than the original.

This single should be an example for all other singles, I was looking for the seether song "Broken" for a long time and finally I heard that a single was coming out. this CD also comes with a high quality video of the song (BIG BONUS), there are some other seether songs included on this CD but if you want more seether songs you may as well buy an album.

I must admit, YES, I absolutely LOVE the duet. But seriously, I like the original with just THe dude...uhm...oh god what's his name again? Shawn I think. Probably spelt wrong but oh well. >.< But yeah The one with just him singing it is amazing as well. <3 And don't think I'm just a "Only Seether" Fan, either. Hi, I heard this song on-line (...) and I had to listen to it at least 7 times! I then heard it on the radio and I jumped, that one girl who said something about how Amy and Seather got together, well, it's true! Ok, you're thinking I'm just a kid, no one should listen to me, well, now it's time to!
This is the best song Amy did with someone else, she did do a song with Big Dismal called Missing You, that song is good, but this song is WAY better.
When Evanescence first came out, I got the album, Anyway, I love this song, and whoever said that us kids are sick that we think that stuff like this is awesome is lame, well, back off!
At least we have good taste in music, unlike you, who obviously
likes stupid pop stars. So stop making us think that pop stars are cool, when they are NOT! Keep thoughts like that to yourself.

I personally love the song Broken, and Amy Lee. I haven't listend to any other 'Seether' stuff, but yeah nonetheless. I used to think all rock/rap... everything but country... was crap, but the more I listen nowadays the more i realise Country is the crap- cause it's all about the same stuff, over and over again, recycled into different words and melodies. At least the rock/alt has some sort of feeling in it anymore. I can relate to alot more.

Broken is one of those that I can relate to- I just love it, plus her voice. And dude, the first guy who reviewed this- like the one kid said, get a life. These people actually worked to get on the charts- I'll bet you watch American Idol and think those people have talent.
