Sugarland

This is a fantastic album, and the bonus selections are great. One of the best Sugarland CDs.

To be honest I never had been a Sugarland Fan will in fact never really knew who they were until the song "All I want to do" came out on the radio and I feel in love with the song. I decided to fine out who sang it and see about there cd and when I started to sample the songs and discovered that they were all great!!! I love her deep southern voice. I have spent a lot of time in the south and don't live there now and to here a southern accent is very soothing to me. I love the songs in this song the meaning and the heart behind them while there being sung. I would recommend this CD to any country fan!!

I gave this cd a try based on the reviews, and the fact that it was recommended for me based on my purchase of the new Taylor Swift cd. I have an earlier Sugarland cd, so I figured this one couldn't be that bad. The vocals on his ablum are great, but most of the songs are are pretty generic mid-tempo country-pop songs - nothing spectacular. In fact, this whole piece reminded me of something a recent American Idol alum would throw together and put out quickly just to get something out there while their name was still fresh in people's minds. In fact, the best track on the whole album is one written by another artist - Matt Nathanson's "Come On Get Higher" - which is one of the bonus tracks.

Do yourself a favor and skip this one. Taylor Swift's "Fearless" is a much better pick.

I preordered and couldn't wait for the next CD from this dynamic duo! I was not disappointed. Jennifer Nettles has an incredible voice and the bonus tracks are a definite plus!

I didn't take the time to listen to the clips. It was listed on the top sellers for folk music with some of my favorite artist. It turned out to be country. My bad? Probably.

I purchased this CD for my mom as a Christmas present. I have always enjoyed Sugarland's music on the radio, but this was their first CD i have ever listened to from beginning to end. The whole album was great, very entertaining, and fun to listen to. The lead singer has a powerful and very unique voice. I'm planning to purchase their previous CD's after hearing this latest one.

This is a cd that shows the range of the style of Sugarland. They never fail to entertain. Has been very enjoyable. I will continue to play most often.

jennifer nettles is an great singer. this cd is not as good as the other two, but still gotta give it four stars i just love her voice, and that coming from a guy who likes iron maiden and manowar. i listen to country occasionally. and this is some of the better stuff.

Startin out with Settlin... how many of us have found ourselves in THIS situation before. But this is about growing up and NOT SETTLIN'anymore.. then it flows thru so nice with some feel good music, some happy endings, some mean girls, who can't be forgiven! LOL ... but I have to hit that Repeat whenever Stay comes on!! Beggin him not to leave... but the next time she calls... U STAY! I mean... it doesn't get much better than this. Reminds me of the first time listening to Mindy McCready's album.

Normally if I like one song by an artist, I like most of their songs. But I can't seem to figure Sugarland out. I liked Baby Girl from there first CD but not really anything else. Then I stopped liking Baby Girl as much as I did. I HATE Stay. I sort of like Settlin', Want To, and Everyday America. But none of them scream "SUGARLAND IS AMAZING!", so I borrowed the CD because I liked All I Want to Do (from Love on the Inside) and thought, who knows I may enjoy some songs on this CD. Well none of them are really that great, but I can say I really like County Line.
So if you really liked Settlin', Want To, Stay and Everyday America I'd give this CD a try.

I bought all 3 of their CD's at the same time. They are all equally good.
Have had them only a short time and probably already wore them out. Good thing I downloaded the music to my iPod.

with the exception of april showers and mean girls the rest of the songs were pleasant. jennifer nettles is a good vocalist she just has a different style than some might like. I like her myself

If not for Bon Jovi, this woman would not be famous.
Can she try any harder to sound southern? She is SO fake. I feel an uncontrollable urge to change the station. A few of the songs they have are well written, and its too bad you have to tolerate her voice to hear them.

I actually acquired the second Sugarland album first, and loved it so much I went for the third and first. I am not a particular Country fan, but I love Jennifer Nettles' voice and the sound of the band. Even my husband, who definitely isn't a Country fan, has had to admit that "They have a really good sound." His favorite is "Stand back Up". I love them all. Listen to the samples, and if they appeal to you, then you'll enjoy the album.

This is a great cd. As a person who hardly ever listens to country music, I'm really enjoying this. Great vocals, great music...lets dance! Can't wait for more.

This is a great cd! Every song is great!! It is too bad that Kristen Hall left but they are still GREAT!!

There is no doubt about it, Sugarland is breathing life into country music- and it surely needed it!! With relatable lyrics, great instrument play and the mesmarizing voice of Jennifer Nettles; Twice the Speed of Life is a hit for Sugarland.

Like many first CDs, I wouldn't say this is their best, already having bought Enjoy the Ride I have something to compare it to. But, this CD was a great addition to my collection and one I've been enjoying listening to. Sugarland seems to be a mix between mainstream country, yet at times reminds me of the "old school" country. It's a fine balance and they seem to have found it, as they have become quite the popular hit. Some of my favorite songs are: Baby Girl, Something More, Hello, Tennessee, Fly Away, Time, Time, Time and Stand Back Up.

I'd definitely recommend Sugarland to a country fan. I think that they've found a nice mix of songs for this CD- fast paced, slow crooning songs, catchy beats...and each song highlights both the voice as well as the instruments. Amen, this is what country music needed, a band to breath some new life into it- I for one appreciate it!

I want to like sugarland!! But the way the lead singer (Jennifer) keeps pushing her voice and 'accent' it is impossible for me too. Not only is she making their songs sound twangy, dated, and annoying- she' pushing her voice too much!! Ugh- go back to their first cd for her real, pure voice.

I was at Sugarland's first show and fell in love with them! Kristen Hall is amazing and together with Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush they are UNBELIEVABLE. I have passed along their first cd to all of my friends. Listen to them and you will be left wanting more.

I have been a big follower of Sugarland since I first heard them in early 2003, beginning with their first two "homemade" CDs. My admiration for this group (and lead singer Jennifer Nettles) only continues to grow. They've taken a good, long, honest look at life - then chose to write about the GOOD times, and what matters most in life... and you can tell they are having fun doing it!

Be on the look-out for this band... they are not only going to take the country music world by storm, but the world as a whole.

"Baby Girl" is one of the best country songs since sliced bread! It reminds you a bit of when Trisha Yearwood first came out with "She's In Love With The Boy"... small town girl made it big... [or atleast in love]. The B-side "Stand Back Up" is a ballad from the forthcoming album [10.26.04]. Ladies and gentlemen, let me [re]intorduce you [the world] to SUGARLAND. Watch out Shania, Faith Hill, and the Dixie Chicks.... your time is limited... jennifer nettles [and company] has arrived.
