I am a Toby Keith fan for many years and I have all his CDs but this 2 CD set puts them all at your fingertips. You can't beat country music poured out from his heart and soul. There is something in his voice that makes you wish he would sing some of his ballads to you. You can't be disappointed if you buy this set.

I had Toby Keith's greatest vol. 2 and someone took it. I was really upset. So I decided to buy his 35 greatest hits and it is really a great cd,it replaces the greatest vol 2 plus there is many more wonderful songs,you won't regret buying this if you are a big Toby Keith fan.

I HAVE TO SAY THESE ARE MY FIRST TOBY KEITH CD'S AND IT IS A GREAT ASSORTMENT OF HIS HITS. WE DON'T GET COUNTRY MUSIC HERE SO IT IS REALLY GREAT HEARING HIM WHEN I WANT.

This is the best Toby Keith album so IMO. I love all the slower songs....... FIVE Stars!

I love Toby Keith.
His first song I knew was "american soldier", I loved that. Then came "she never cried in front of me" which was nr. 1 in my personal chart. Country is not very popular here in Europe but I love it.
It has different types of music, not just country. I love his ballads.
I am a big fan of him now. I hope to hear much more from him.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the 'Broken Bridges' Soundtrack as I'd pretty much bought it for two songs; 'Broken Bridges' and 'Broken'. The rest of the soundtrack hadn't really stood out to me while watching the movie. But, from the first time I listened to it, I fell in love with it. Every song is catchy or great to listen to and there's a good mix of styles, from the ballady duet 'Broken Bridges' to the folk-style 'The Battlefield' that makes one think of misty green fields, to the high energy 'Big Bull Rider'. Any Toby Keith fan will not be disappointed as seven of the fourteen songs feature the country singer, four of them original to the soundtrack, although the final song, 'Jacky Don Tucker', originally from Keith's 'Dream Walkin'' album (1997), has been given a reworking. 'Broken Bridges' could be a stand alone album and one does not have to have seen or even liked the film for it to be enjoyed. It is fun, powerful, tear-jerking, toe-tapping, eclectic, and addictive (you will get some tunes stuck in your head). It's worth it even if only to hear the instrumental 'The Waiting Game' which is a beautiful piece of music. There are also photos from the film and enhanced content which I have yet to check out. 'Broken Bridges' is an exciting find and has become one of my favourite albums in the short time I've had it.

I purchased this for a friend , as he loved the movie. This soundtrack is awesome! He was really happy with it, the music is great!

I play this CD all the time. It is very seldom that I ever buy a CD and love 90% of the songs. You will be surprised how wonderful Toby Keith and Lindsey Haun sound together too. The movie was great and this is the #1 soundtrack of the year for me. I love the songs by Toby Keith. He slows things down a little. Several of these songs are about forgiveness but all of them are very touching. If you listen to the words, there is a song on this CD for you. Buy the movie too. It is really, really good. You did good Toby. Lindsey Haun is precious in this movie.

Love the cd but two of the songs skip so not too happy about that

I am a big Toby fan and loved this movie. The music was just as great as the movie. I like the variety of the songs and singers. It would have been just another Toby cd if they weren't on there. Whenever I listen to it, it makes me want to watch the movie again! I waited to buy it until after I watched the movie a few times-- it was worth the wait! Enjoy!

Can ANYONE tell me why this song is not on any of the "greatest hits" packages I can find? It's one of Toby Keith's biggest hits!!! It's also my favorite song of his, but the album it's on is not very good otherwise (in my opinion), so I'd rather just find a nice greatest hits package that includes this song. What gives?

This is an excellent song and i like it alot. Matter of fact i pretty much always liked Toby Keith. It's too bad that you guys put this song as free because it's too late. I already have the album.

It might have been a better idea to make "She's a hottie" free because that's the only new song on 35 Biggest Hits. :)

Sexy sexy sexy! I still remember that ugly yellow suit he wore after 5 years of nothing and that night I think he walked away with about 6 awards!! He just got up there and yelled... "HOW DO U LIKE ME NOW!!" This song has his Toby KICK that makes him one of the feel good country rockers out there LOVED by women (of COURSE, did I mention sexy?) and the guys can even admit they like him too. He's got that Hank Williams Jr rugged rough cowboy way about him that just makes you not be able to say no to buying his music! U can't go wrong with Toby singin!!

I am a Toby Keith fan and really enjoy his music and onstage presentations. There are songs that I enjoy more then others and some do not make it to the top 10. I really enjoyed the song big dog daddy since it reminded me of earlier country. The album as a whole has a variety and Toby's voice is at it's best in alot of the song. Again not all of the songs are top 10, but if you like Toby Keith, as I do, you will love this.

I love this CD. My favorite number is "Big Dog Daddy" because it truly rocks. Don't want to date myself, but I'm from original rock with Gerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard etc. I always turn up the volume on this one. The instrumentals are spectacular and generous. I hate for it to end. I never tire of this album. It has great variety, nostalgia, heart, thought and humor.

his earlier work when he was hungry for stardom was passable and the backup made him sound good but the past few years each album gets worse .this singer is busy with his power trip . he seems to be trying to say how bad how tough, how macho he is but comes through as pushy ignorant and obnoxious ill take george strait garth brooks, and alan jackson these artists manage to be patriotic and gentlemen too they are such talents and sexy i gave this cd away couldnt find anybody who would pay me for it

I feel sometimes he tries to push the envelope see what he can stir up.
My favorite tune on this album is "If I were Jesus". It is very witty

When it comes to "Country Music", I barely possess 'pedestrian knowledge. But for the past couple of years, I'm settling in.
I have one guideline, however; A USO tour will be a selling point in any album purchase.

This is one of the best all time Country singers. He knows how to write songs.

I'm so tired of these coca cola cowboys with hats that match their outfit, and lyrics that I could have written while takin' a leak behind a walgreens. I remember when I was in the military and he had all these stupid support the troops songs that were horrible, I mean when your in the military you don't wanna hear this war music all dang day and when you get one of these stupid songs stuck in your head, believe me it's a long dam* day. Oh yeah and Terry Clark opened up for him once at a concert of his and made him look like Tito. Hopefully he made a lot of money off of the war so hopefully he can retire from country music and let Randy Rogers or Pat green or somebody with half an ounce of talent correct the wrongs he's made in country music. Man he sucks, ok, i'm done

Not as good as I hoped. I was mainly puchasing it for the song Walk Back To Me and I was not impressed with the rest of the songs.

I have enjoyed Toby Keith's music for at least 12 year, maybe more. He sings wonderful songs with a lot of feeling whether it is a slow ballard or an upbeat song. I really liked all the songs on this CD and enjoy all of his work.

Honkytonk University has some of the best Toby Keith songs ever written. There is just something about Honkytonk U that hits the heart. Each and every song makes a connection, whether it be a tearful goodbye or a cheerful boot out the back door, and each time I listen to it the familiar emotions it stirs are always there.

I became a Toby Keith fan because I've felt like he writes from the soul on so many of his songs, and this CD is just another testament to that truth.

He has done it again. What talent. This is a must.
Great songs from a great songwriter!

I bought this CD specifically for "Big Blue Note" one of my favorite songs. I also got another of my favorites "As Good As I Once Was". Some of the rest are also good but some I had never heard of before. I still feel I got my moneys worth.

I think these were hit best songs. i know he is more popular now, but these songs are very well written. My favorite song is the one he did with Sting.

I love all of Toby Keith's music. It's alot of fun & the kind of music that makes you want to smile. He's got a great voice & is very talented. I have heard alot of country music & Toby is the best of the best! He's definitely on the top of my list along with Garth Brooks & Tim Mcgraw.

it's a TOBY KEITH greatest hits; no reason but that to buy it; we love Toby

I puchased this Toby Keith album because I was given tickets to see him in concert and didn't know even one of his songs. I became a fan of Toby's soon after listening to this CD. Although he talks through a lot of "Getcha Some", it's become of my favorites out of the fourteen tracks. "You Ain't Much Fun" is an awesome song, even if the message isn't very considerate. This album is a great collection of country!

Pull may chain is my personal favorite. Lots of fun songs on it, as well as a few love songs.

I think he does a great job of bringing out his fun personality in his music. THis is good modern country.

I LOVE this cd! I am a relatively new Toby Keith fan, since 2004. I first got the Greatest Hits 2 cd, which I loved immediately. I have added the newer cds to my collection, and now have begun adding the previous cds. This is one of my favorites. I really like the upbeat songs, where Toby really rocks, as well as the slower love songs, ie, You Leave me Weak :). I highly recommend this cd to any Toby fan!

Okay folks let's face it. "Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue" and "Beer for My Horses" are the two best songs on here, I think.
Maybe it's because I'm from Texas and we Texans don't take kindly to foreign freaks attacking us, but I totally agree with every line written by Toby Keith in this powerfully patriotic song. Try to remember the aftermath of September 11th: the overwhelming surge of patriotism and the "we will NEVER forget" attitude. Aside from the present-day views of Iraq and the war on terror, Sept. 11th is almost a whole separate ordeal. This song was written in the aftermath of a very terrible event and to me, it reaffirms the pride that we Americans have in our country...and those who mess with us are gonna get "a boot up their ass."
I applaud Toby for putting it so plainly. He's saying what I believe we as Americans were thinking, that as the greatest country in the world, we will overcome (and we have)

Toby Keith's "Pull My Chain"

The C.D. I'm reviewing is Toby Keith's "pull My Chain." He's been in the singing business for 10 years now, and has had 6 previous C.D.'s. Like all Toby's music, this was a hit! My first impression of the Oklahoma boy's music was very positive. I just loved his C.D. because his song choices were good.

My favorite track numbers are: 1: "I'm just talkin' about tonight", 2: "I wanna talk about me", 3: "I can't take you anywhere", 4: "You leave me weak", 6: "Pull my chain", and 11: "My list". I enjoy these numbers because some of them are humorous, and I can relate some of the songs to my personal life. Unfortunately, there are a few dud songs. The tracks are: 5: "Trying to matter", 7: "The Sha La La song", 8: "Pick em' up and lay em' down", 9: "Forever hasn't got here yet", 10: "yesterday's pain", and 12: "You didn't have as much to loose." These tracks bore me because the lyrics and the music type. One reason why I like his C.D. is Toby Keith wrote or co-wrote all his own songs except 2!

This C.D. of Toby's is rock/country. I know many country fans were estatic when it came out, but the anti-country people were less enthusiastic about his C.D. coming out. Country people just love Toby Keith! Compared to Montgumery Gentry's country/rock C.D.'s, Toby's C.D. rallied.

Toby's C.D. ranges from $4.99-15.00. He's sold up to 1 million total, and they're still selling. The label is Dream Works. His fan club gave him 5 and one half stars out of 6, and I totally agree with them!

I am absolutely furious with the song "Runnin' Block". I used to think Toby Keith had at least a small amount of class, but apperantly not.

Also, none of his songs lately give me that excited, great mood of "Oh my gosh! I love this song! Turn it up!" like his "Beer for my Horses", "How Do You Like Me Now?", or "I Wanna Talk About Me". His music has become so-so. "Crash Here Tonight" is the only song I actually enjoy on this CD, mostly just because I relate to the lyrics well and that makes me like it.

I'm very disappointed with Toby Keith's music these days.

As always Toby Kieth is enjoyable and some of his songs has a lot of humor to them.I have several albums by Toby and each one is a delight,this one is no exception.Good job.

Trash. It is exactly the right title for this album.
The title ' Get Drunk and Be Somebody' doesn't make any sense. When you are drunk you are a nobody. I don't get how a drunk can be somebody. If I were a fat woman I would be offended by the song called 'Running Block'. It is a stupid song. You hear him chuckle after calling the fat lady in the song a 'jellyroll'. Is that funny? There is no humour in this song. Making fun of fat women and degrading them. How much worse can it get? Is that Country music? I am surprised his label released his album because the guy can't be taken seriously. He has no talent. His music sucks. I wouldn't even give it one star. It seems to me that quality and talent are not important because you can produce a crappy album and call it 'Country' and convince labels to release it.
I noticed he is releasing an album every year and even released 2 albums in the same year. Does he need an album every six months? No wonder he cannot make a decent album.

With all due respect to rabid Keith fans, this album proves what a simple-minded lush Toby Keith really is, and he needs a LOT of help to sound good. There's a common theme to his last four albums. If he's not complaining about the Taliban, he's singing some power ballad about getting drunk. After rocking us with a few songs from "Unleashed," "Big Dog Daddy," and "Shock'n Yall," this is what we get? What a waste. The most earworthy song on this album: "Get Drunk and be Somebody?" Please. The title says it all. Maybe he's past his prime.

I was a huge fan of Toby Keith; before this album came out. I can accept the constant reference to an artist's idea of a perfect woman. But "Runnin Block" was downright dissappointing. If that's how Toby feels about imperfect women; I just can't enjoy his songs without thinking how shallow and insensitive he is.
