Twisted Sister

I would highly recommend Twisted Sisters Chrismas album to anyone who has thought the old standby carols were getting old. My family enjoyed the comic ladden lyric and music. Who does not like a little hard rock at Christmas time, that's what I want to know :)

I LOVE this CD. The Twelve Days of Christmas song is GREAT! Hysterical! If there is any one band that can put a heavy metal "twist" to Christmas music, it's Twisted Sister! "Twist" on!

I haven't heard too many hard rock Christmas albums. This one was a lot of fun. Most (but not all) of the songs were pretty well done. Their version of O Come all Ye Faithful is hands-down the best version I've ever heard; that includes the way it's traditionally played. I can't wait each year to pop this thing into my CD player. Or from my iPod nowadays, I guess.

Wow! This CD is excellent for christmas. Basically, this is a christmas CD in the Hard Rock category. T(h)is "10" track disc actually has 11 tracks (the 11th one being a hidden bonus track). Due to timing reasons I will only review my 4 favorites.

Track 1 is one of my favorites on here, a cover of the classic "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". Twisted Sister's version starts out as a ballad for nearly one minute before turning into a 10 second drum solo, and then erupting into headbanger's paradise featuring nearly a one minute solo.

Track 2 is a cover of the holiday classic "O Come All Ye Faithful. The catchy drum rhythm for "We're Not Gonna Take It" is recycled into this awesome cover song (which gets my vote as the best song on here, it being my personal favorite).

Track 10 is a parody of "The 12 Days of Christmas" with the most comedic, catchy lyrics being "10...,9...,8...,7...,6...,5...,4...,3...,2 something something, and a tattoo of Ozzy".

Finally, the bonus track: running for just over :30, this is good finisher and a good way to say FAREWELL, THANK YOU FOR LISTENING, AND HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! A parody of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", the beat/rhythm of the former is used, while there's a slight catch lyric-wise: "We Wish You a Twisted Christmas!!!"

Perfect for Christmas(!!!) and worthy of 5 stars and your money. BUY "A TWISTED CHRISTMAS" SOMETIME BEFORE CHRISTMAS DAY!!!

Awsome CD, Twisted Sister is still great. This is no exception. The album rocks, and not one single carol was messed up. The meaning of Christmas can be felt in any medium and I am very proud that bands like Trans Siberian Orch. Joan Jett and Twisted Sister have stepped up to the plate in a time where just saying Christmas could offend someone. If you love to rock, pick this up for the next yule time season.

Love hearing these guys live again. I can only pray for a new album. Dee's voice is as awesome as ever, the guitar hooks sound great and this was an overall flawless, epic LIVE preformance by Twisted Sister.

I'm not crazy about the set list they went with for the DVD. I would have liked to have seen more songs from 'Love is for Suckers' and 'Come out and Play' and less from their first 2 albums. The sound and video quality are pretty good. The musicianship is good. Dee's voice is holding up well through the years. I would liked to have seen a more dramatic light show or stage setting. For the DVD it's just your basic lights like you'd see at any small venue concert. I thought the editing and camera work was well done. Dee worked the crowd a little bit, especially towards the end, but got a little repetitive in that he repeated some thoughts and phrases that can be found on other Twisted Sister live recordings. The band did seem full of energy, though. Especially Dee, and that bass player was really getting into thumping the neck of his guitar on the mic. That was pretty funny. All and all, not a bad DVD but was hoping for a little bit more. No special features on the DVD.

EDIT: After watching the DVD a few more times I decided I had to bump my grade up a star. (from 3 to 4) Although no special lighting or explosions, it is a very intimate concert and has a unique appeal to it that has grown on me. Still think they could have substituted some of their better songs for some of the weaker ones but, oh well. 'We're not gonna Take it,' 'I wanna Rock', and 'Burn in Hell' are really fun to watch. Although, they should have miked the audience better for even MORE of an impact! Also should of had more shots of the crowd where people are acting stupid. Still, the DVD is worth getting to support this classic band that signifies so much of what Rock n Roll is all about. I hope they keep making new music.

First off let me say that this is a good album. Such songs like, were not gonna take it, i wanna rock, stay hungry, etc. Are all great songs. Now a days though twisted sister is not going on any more. Other good metal albums are like quiet riot

An interesting piece of rock/metal history, with one of the most anthemic songs of all time in "We're Not Gonna Take It." But, as is often the case with songs that become as famous as that one did, it's eventually misused in ridiculous commercials and is lessened because of it.

Fortunately, the rest of the album stands up enough to distract me from this latest sacrilege, with highlights in "Burn in Hell," "Captain Howdy," of course the great rocker "I Wanna Rock," and "The Price."

Pop-Metal has a deservedly bad reputation amongst serious metalheads, but that doesn't mean that there isn't any good stuff out there, with Twisted Sister's "Stay Hungry" being some of the best. "Stay Hungry" is relatively early in the pop-metal cycle, so they haven't taken it too far yet and washed away all the heaviness in a sea of overproduction. This ain't gonna crush anyone's skull, but it's not Bon Jovi or Poison either, not by a long shot. In short, it's pop, but it's still metal too, no doubt.

At only nine tracks, "Stay Hungry" is relatively short and sweet, with no obvious filler. This isn't a terribly complicated album, instead relying on a few catchy riffs and memorable vocal lines. The band isn't likley to wow anyone with their chops, but they're tight and efficient and play with greater intensity than most of their peers. Snider, however, is the standout. He might not have the sorta range and technical ability found with some other metal singers, but he's a perfect fit here, creating an always effective mixture of melody and aggression. Also, I must admit to being amused by sometimes the good-naturedly juvenile lyrics.

"Stay Hungry" is not exactly overloaded in variety: it has a few particularly poppy, anthemic numbers (We're Not Gonna Take It, I Wanna Rock), some faster, more metallic tracks, (Stay Hungry, SMF, Don't Let Me Down), some brooding, moodier songs (The Beast, Burn in Hell) and the obligatory ballad. (The Price) Again, everything here is definitely listenable, and there are enough true highlights to maintain interest from beginning to end. The two most famous tracks, "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock" and perhaps most likely to grate against more hardline metalheads, but I enjoy them both immensely. They ain't got a lotta sophistication, but they provide the sorta anthemic fun I look for on occasion. That said, I still tend to prefer the darker, more metallic material which makes "The Beast" my easy favorite, followed by the similar "Burn in Hell", both of which are metal classics. These two have the most powerful, varied vocal performances from Snider, and the instrumentalists kick it up too, with some moodier, more dynamic songwriting.

I dunno how much more there is to say about "Stay Hungry". It's just a lotta fun. Some people don't think that metal should be fun, ever, so I guess they should look elsewhere. But if you can take it a bit less seriously every now and then and want some melody and straight forwardness, you can't go wrong with "Stay Hungry".

Can't really explain why I'm tinto these guys since I'm primarilly into Hip Hop but I grew up on their videos!

I had this casette way back when. I was a juvenile rocker when it came out, I was young and dumb and embarrassingly goofy. Now I'm almost 40 and listen to a very wide variety of music. I happened to be at a friend's house and saw that he had this CD. I played it and couldn't believe the A+ songs on it. I'd always remembered Twisted Sister as some sort of gimmicky glam band that I'd listened to as a child.

I still think "We're not Gonna Take It" is a bit over the top, but "Burn in Hell" and "I Wanna Rock" are rock solid songs. "Stay Hungry" reminded me of Y&T - and I rate Dave Meniketti as one of the greatest. "The Price" is an achingly ripping ballad. What vocals!

Well, I didn't skip through any of the songs (at the friend's house) and I bought the CD from Amazon 2 days later. This one only got better with age.

All the twisted greats are here plus awesome live tunes, this collectionb is very well put together! Play it loud mutha!

This music is really great if you are an 80's and 90's hair band lover! Great Tunes!!

I'm giving this album a somewhat decent rating because at least the short studio songs are catchy. Sure, the band is nothing more than an updated and more disgusting version of KISS, but credit needs to be given to the band for at LEAST having some decent anthem-rock songs. Everybody knows "We're Not Gonna Take It". I even heard this song on some commercial recently advertising female problems. "I Wanna Rock" is definitely the catchiest song on the disc. "ROCK rock ROCK rock". Yeah, you know it.

"I Am (I'm Me)" is the perfect song for an angry teenager to play over and over in his bedroom as he sits there in the dark thinking about how much the world hates him. "The Price" is sort of depressing, only that, we're talking about an 80's hair metal band attempting to say something important. "You Can't Stop Rock and Roll" is pretty awesome. After this song, the rest of the studio tracks sort of blend together, though I won't deny how catchy most of them are.

The live tracks are, unfortunately, really awful. Just a terrible live band. I was never a fan of the Rolling Stones classic "It's Only Rock 'n Roll" anyway, but hearing Twisted Sister attempt this song in a live settting with an overbearingly long build-up consisting mostly of a bunch of swear words that mean absolutely nothing to anyone other than those who happened to be attending the concert is, well, really freakin' bad.

Stick with the studio tracks. Those songs rule.

I would buy from here again, my Cd came perfectly and on time. Thanks Very much.

This is a great collection of Twisted Sister. I definitely would recommend this to any fan of Twisted Sister. You can't find this type of good rock n' roll anymore!

This album is incredible. A masterpiece of the band that is Twisted Sister. Start to finish, every track is great music. And dont forget, as Dee Snider himself would say "PLAY IT LOUD MUTHA!!!"

"Under the Blade" features a "different" sound than what most SMF's might expect from Twisted Sister. The songs are at times very similar to early Black Sabbath. Plodding, dirge-like tunes with only flashes of the hair-metal like guitar riffs they would popularize with "Stay Hungry". Tunes like "Destoryer" and "Sin after Sin" emphasize this. Both feature a slower, plodding pace that emphasize A.J. Pero's drumwork and Mark Mendoza's bass. The screaming guitars take a backseat on these songs, and they aren't bad, just not what you would expect. On the other hand, tunes like "Under the Blade", "I'll Never Grow Up" and "What You Don't Know" are all shaded with what would become Twisted Sister's signature sound on "Stay Hungry" and "Come Out and Play". If you are a fan of the band, then this is a must own, but if your only interested in the hits...stick with "Stay Hungry" and download the title song from this disk.

Under the Blade is Raw, and has an edge to it that only came from that era.

As bands progress, their sound suffers and ultimatly falls short in the sales department due to their untimely evolution. Under the Blade is REAL Twisted and it shows.

Twisted is one of a small handful of bands that have really kept the same sound throughout their careers.

Get this CD, enjoy it, and relive the good ol' days of music.

I was fortunate enough to buy the original Secret Records release on vinyl as an import from Italy back in the 80s and I am so happy that I still have it because I really don't like what was done to this album in the remastering process. All of the raw intensity has been stripped away in favor of way too much reverb on the drums and vocals, ostensibly to "clean up" the sound. UTB was not a clean-sounding album to begin with and that was part of why it succeeded so well. Sadly, this happens with way too many remasters -- reverb effects or drum triggers that did not exist in the original production are added supposedly to modernize the production and, in every case where this is done, it detracts from what made the album so great so many years ago. I don't know if a CD has ever been released with the original mixes of these tunes, so you may have no choice but to hear it only in its remastered form. Fortunately the tunes are great and, if you've never heard what the original mix sounded like, you won't know what you're missing anyway so definitely buy it on the strength of the tunes. Me...I'll stick to my vinyl copy thank you very much.

I probably should have said it in my first review, but I'm really a 14 year old kid using my mom's account.

My older sister had the album Stay Hungry when I was little, and I found myself listening to it quite a bit. Last Christmas I got my own copy of it, and this got me interested to see what other music Dee Snider and the gang had come out with. So, I found this album, Under the Blade. The title track caught my interest the first time I listened to the 30-second preview, and once I got my hands on the CD I found "Under the Blade" to be my all-time favorite Twisted Sister song. My other favorites on this album are "Run for your Life", "Bad Boys (of Rock N Roll)", and "Shoot Em Down".

The one and only thing that disappointed me about this album was the sound (or lack thereof) that the snare drum made. Just imagine if that sound was replaced with the roaring snare sound that they had on Love is for Suckers! It's good regardless of the snare, but I think it might have been better if they got a louder sound for when they remastered it. Everything else, I think, is top notch, except for the lyrics that were included. Like I said in my last review for Love is for Suckers, the lyrics are missing lines, have wrong words etc.

Despite these two points, Twisted Sister's debut album made it to the top of my favorites list. I think Under the Blade far outdoes Stay Hungry, even though that was TS's biggest hit.

The original recording is BETTER. This one is muddy and Dee's vocals are not as good. But it's not a total disaster. I do like the song 'Hero's are hard to find' a lot. The album is worth buying just for that one song.

This truely is a great remake of the original album. The music, at last, sounds the way the band intended it too.
The thin metal sound of the original is gone, replaced with a grittier heavier sound - that has a great raw feeling to it.
If you are a fan of the original - then you will love this album....a must have for all Twisted Sister fans.

SMF forever......

I, too, like "Still Hungry" even better than it's 23-year old predecessor. It sounds much more raw and less '80s', but the band has stayed faithful in preserving the original spirit of the sound (only "The Price" fell short of the spirit and quality of the original). The album's shortcomings are inconsequential, though, because "Still Hungry" successfully brings back some great memories with a new, ragged sound! Buy it now!

This version of the classic "Stay Hungry" reminded me of the live performances I'd seen and heard of Twisted Sister.

It was darker, grittier, and less polished. I LOVED it.

It was a nice nostalgic trip pulling out a near mint condition vinyl copy of this album from my childhood stash. I remember listening to this album more than I thought I would over time.

"Stay Hungry" was silly and ruined things ultimately, but this album is the one TS album I listened to...secretly. It's got more of a 70's, hard rock style, with the obvious mid-80's pop metal influence creeping in...it's Sister's finest moment.

They were a fun band who didn't take themselves too seriously, and to this day I'll never understand the "drag" side of hair metal bands, the back cover of this LP shows them in their "normal" attire (sleeveless jean jackets, big fro's) split in half with a picture of the band in their "sister" attire (i.e. drag).

Good to see Dee still on the tube here and there, and that he still likes to rock and hasn't changed much. This album is very respectable for 70's and 80's metal, despite the drag queen biker-cheese.

Raw but intense! Twisted Sister is an incredible band... The tracks on this album are just as I remembered, but I haven't heard them in years. I Am, I'm Me is about my favorite song on this project. It's flat out HEAVY with balls!!!! Every metal lover should get this and play it loud!!! Do neck exercises before you headbang... You WILL be sore!

"You Can't Stop Rock N' Roll" is a fantastic rock album. If this had been the follow up disk to "Stay Hungry" instead of "Come Out and Play", Twisted Sister would have cemented themselves atop the hair metal genre. I am not sure why this disk didn't receive the attention "Stay Hungry" did.
"The Kids are Back" - Great kick off to the disk, excellent guitar work, and really sets the tone for what is to come.
"Like a Knife in the Back" - Not the best tune on the disk, but the chorus will get stuck in your head all the same.
"Ride to Live, Live to Ride" - Great song, this should have been in heavy rotation on metal radio. This is the perfect song to crank up on the car stereo on a hot summer day.
"I Am (I'm Me)" - Another awesome tune, and Dee's vocals really shine here.
"The Power and the Glory" - Another rock anthem by a band that helped construct the blueprints of rock anthems.
"We're Gonna Make It" - All about the power of Twisted Sister and their SMFs.
"I've Had Enough" - Classic me against the world teen angst tune, perfect when you are 16 and pissed at the world.
"I'll Take You Alive" - One of the few clunkers on an otherwise stellar disk.
"You're Not Alone (Suzette's Song)" - A cool power ballad released in a time before they became a cliche.
"You Can't Stop Rock n' Roll" - The title song is a great rock anthem, and is easily as good as "I Wanna Rock".

**The copy of the disk I own is the original album, so I can't speak to the new material on the remaster, but the original album is well worth the under $10 price by itself**

1st off, good TS album. Filled with raw energy before their comercial successful release 'Stay Hungry'. Now regarding the recording. What I read when this Spitfire re-release came out in 1999 along with Under The Blade, Come Out and Play, and Love Is For Suckers is that they were recorded from vinal and not truly digitally remastered from the master recordings. I believe on this release you can here an occasional 'pop' that you would hear on a record. So in a sense, it has the warmness of a record that a lot of older folk miss hearing on a recording.

In a fit of 80's hair-band metal nostalgia, I bought this album for a few tracks I remembered liking. As it turns out the first three tracks are cool and had me cranking it up. Sadly, the rest of it is total crap and the bonus tracks are no bonus.

I have all of Twisted sisters albums and obviously opinions are like... Stay Hungry has their 2 most recognisable tunes but this is even still more consistently anthemic which is what most people love about this band. My personal belief on why it didn't carry on where Stay Hungry left off is down to a few reason. I don't believe it was a backlash from radio stations in retaliation to Dee's defiance toward the PMRC but more a very poor choice of singles to promote the album. The tracks they chose, "be cruel to your school" and "leader of the pack" are the worst tracks on the album! Elsewhere the title track is as rollicking a metal song as you would here anywhere. You can hear what Dee means when he said he wanted this band to by a hybrid of ACDC and Judas Priest. And there are plenty of great rock & roll chanting anthems like "believe in rock n roll", "I know what you want" etc. For me the stand out tune on this cd is "out on the streets". Everything about it is beautifully constructed and it is a song that Dee should be forever proud for writing. It has an epic build up with a great, melodic chorus. When I first got this release it had Stay hungry on one side and Come out and play on the other. More often than not I would keep fast forwarding Stay Hungry to re-listen to this. Oh yeah. Dieter Dieks (spelling?) who many a rock fan would be familiar with for producing classic Scorpions has given this album an excellent shine and crunch! Regardless of the ordinary singles this album should not have been the failure that it unfortunately was. They're back, but is it too late?

I always seem to be on the fence about this album. I either just enjoy this album or I think it is a really great album. So my rating changes, but I'll make one considering TS' past work. I thought the production quality was great. I think songs like 'Come Out And Play'(great starter song with a fast tempo and awesome guitar work), 'I Believe In Rock 'N' Roll', 'The Fire Still Burns', 'Lookin' Out For #1', and 'Kill Or Be Killed' are the high points. 'Out On the Streets' is also one that should not be overlooked. I like 'Be Chrool To Your Scuel' and I'll play it loud with the rest of them, but it sounds out of place on this album. It didn't help that the video was banned by mTV- by the way, have you seen some of the videos they will air nowadays... And "Be Chrool.." was too graphic for TV????? I know they were going with a "from the streets biker gang" theme for this album, but 'Leader Of The Pack', even though it goes along with the biker gang theme, was a poor choice as a lead single for a highly anticipated album that followed the success of songs like 'I Wanna Rock'. And like "Be Chrool...", it seems out of place when heard with the entire album. 'You Want What We Got' and 'I Believe In You'(a ballad) are okay songs. The bonus song, which was also available on the cassette tape and CD from back in the day, is a descent slow song called 'King Of The Fools'. I do not think any of the songs on here are bad, but I can also understand if people are disappointed with it compared to past albums. I know this is hind sight, but if they would have marketed different songs as singles Twisted Sister's history may have been different.

This is the best Twisted Siser album ever... I just love it, love it and love it. If you are a Twisted Sister fan, you can`t do without

Stay Hungry is the best album from Twisted Sister. Come Out and Play is a good album but not the classic metal album like people would have you to believe. Dee Snider and Twisted Sister were on the way out when this album was released. Perhaps my favorite song from this album is Leader of the Pack which is probably why I bought the album. Twisted Sister is one-album wonder with Stay Hungry and their hits "We're Not Gonna Take It", "I wanna rock" and the "The Price".

Not the classic album that people would have you to believe.

It's a good album- but not their best album.

If you want twisted sister at their best- get Stay Hungry.

For those too young to remember vinyl, I have this on LP where the manhole cover opens up and Dee is in all his grimy glory. Also for those interested in trivia, "King of Fools" was not on the original LP and only appeared on the tape.

As for the album itself, I think this release caused Sister to lose a lot of their 'Street Creds'. No longer were they a starving hungry band. Now they were superstars and I think also that the public expexted way too much from them.

The opening title track is great and was a great way to start the album. However I never understood why they covered Shangri La's "Leader of the Pack". Even as a teeneager I wondered what the hell they were doing. The video was attrocious. Dee dressed in white and the rest of the band literally looked like clowns. They seemed to be appeasing to a much younger audience (like 10-12 years old or something). Bobcat Goldthwait was also highly unnessecery.

However this album did have some great Sister material. "Be Crool to your Scuel" is a song I really liked. The video was banned by MTV which again hurt the band because MTV was a heavy factor in Stay Hungry's success. The video was cool with Dee and the Sisters jamming with Alice Cooper in a school full of zombies. The kid in the cafeteria that ate by pouring food down his neck was classic.

My favorite song was "I'm looking out for #1". I just loved it because it was what Twisted Sister was all about; personal freedom and finding your true identity.

Really, if you are a TS fan, this is a must have. Wake up the sleeping giant is an anthem for any heavy metal fan. TS needs to do a new greatest hits and include many of these songs on it.

The four bonus songs I can do without, but digitally remastered, it is simply great!!

How can a band who's first three albums simply kicked your teeth in when you heard them go from that to "Come out And play" & "Love Is For Suckers"? Some bands like "Def Leppard" for instance, can make the transition from a "Pyromania" to a "Hysteria" & make it work, but that wasn't the case for "Twisted Sister", They went from singing and writing songs like the rock anthems "We're Not Gonna Take It" & "I Wanna Rock" to bubble gum stuff like "Leader Of The Pack" & "Hot Love". One reviewer on here for instance "Taylor x" wrote that "Hot Love" is an underrated metal gem, well if this person thinks that, then he or she probably thinks that anything off the first three albums is Country & Western or whatever, go figure, I sure has heck don't see the connection. In the end, this album right after the poor "Come Out And Play" put an end to "Twisted Sister". They have gotten together in recent years and played some shows & last year they did a "Christmas Album" called a "Twisted Christmas". Most recently, "Rhino" records issued a DVD with all their videos on it which is worth having. They also did one for the band "Ratt" as well, which is also worth having.

FIRST ,DEE ROCKS ,AND SECOND THE SONG I WILL WIN IS FIRST RATE ,I WOULD PAY JUST FOR THIS SONG ALONE.THE ALBUM ITS SELF IS ROCK SOLID AND REFLECTS ON SISTER AS SUCH .I HOPE THOSES WHO QUESTION THIS LATTER ALBUM GIVE IT A FAIR HEARING .GOOD ROCK AND ROLL ALWAYS DEALS WITH FEALING YOU WOULD LOVE TO RELEASE AND SPEAK OUT LOUD ,THIS ALBUM DOES SO ,IN QUICK MANNER.ROCK ON SISTER!

This is, in my opinion, the best Twisted Sister album and I was delighted to find it for sale on Amazon. I've not had a copy for over 10 years and it still rocks my world today. This album is full of good, honest 80's rockin' fun and it's great for singing along. The riffs get stuck in your head all day. If you're new to Twisted Sister I recommend this for a first album. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I liked the album to begin with, and I like it even more with the bonus songs. There is one thing everyone seems to agree upon. This is not the usual TS album. The 'Live at Wacken' extras, and I think the behind the music special, tell us that this was supposed to be a Dee Snider solo record, but the label wanted a TS album. In retrospect, after 'Come Out And Play' I think a change of pace was good for TS. That gives us 'Love Is For Suckers'. I thought the album cover was a creative illustration for the title. I have to agree that 'Wake Up (The Sleeping Giant)' and 'Yeah Right!' are the heavy hitters on this one. Wake Up could have been a huge hit had it arrived a couple years sooner. The overall content is different in its references to women/sex, but that goes with the theme of the title. The music does come across softer than previous TS offerings as well. Songs like the title track, 'Me And The Boys', 'One Bad Habit', and 'Tonight' are solid tracks. 'Hot Love', 'I'm So Hot For You', and 'You Are All That I Need', which are good songs, really represent the rock scene in the late eighties. Had Bon Jovi or Poison put these out they probably would have been hits... but Twisted Sister? Good songs, just out of character.
I really enjoyed the bonus songs. 'If That's What You Want' and 'Feel Appeal' are the strongest I would say.
I give this remastered album 4 stars. I would give the original 1987 version 3 stars.

These songs are all great, and unless you're a total TS fanatic, this will be sufficient for your collection. By the way, Burn in Hell is one of the stupidest songs ever, even for a hair metal band!!

Twisted Sister were one of the biggest hair band is the late 80s. This compilation is supposed to be a Greatest Hits. It's not. Sure it has Were Not Gonna Take It, The Price, and I Wanna Rock. But where is Were Gonna Make It, Burn In Hell, or Hot Love. Get rid of Leader of the Pack, Tear It Loose, and Lookin Out For #1. This album is OK for casual fans of Twisted Sister, but for diehard fans or anyone who has ever heard Burn in Hell, it will make you cry.

Twisted Sister,yes a band made fun of a good amount.Yes are a little odd looking,and yes make some decent catchy tunes.

Wipe their image clean outta your mind and just listen to the songs.This is a reduced Twisted Sisters greatist hits compilation.Many people usually consider any album from a bargain bin a poor mans cd.This believe it or not is a really good album for less then 7 dollers,you can't complain you got scammed.Since you really didn't.

This is by all means not a good introduction to this band,but for people scavenging for a few good songs then yes just buy this.The most notable songs are easily the most spoken of songs,or
"We'er Not Gonna Take It".

Obviously it's a greatist hits for a reason though so if you are new to this band expect some other good hits like,"I Wanna Rock".
"Stay Hungry" and "Tear It Loose" are pretty cool too.

If you are'nt really into hair bands and loads of make up that doesn't mean this isn't for you.You more then likley enjoy atleast two or three tracks.As said earlier this is less then 7 dollars wich is half the reason you lack some other big songs.Don't expect much,but do expect some.
