Of corse we have the same last name it is because we are sisters. I love her CD and it is one of the best CDs I have ever heard. I would reccomnd this CD to anybody

Ms. Koljonen's debut album, Heartbreak, excels not only in the quality of her play, but in her selection of titles as well. Her music is played with a passion and feeling that is can be felt by the listener throughout every piece. The album is over 70 minutes long which makes it an exceptional value. I also enjoyed the fact that a brief history of every song was included in the album cover. I very much look forward to her future releases.

When you listen to this album all you have to do is close your eyes and the music will do the rest. I learned about this album by listening to NPR ( National Public Radio). Ms. Koljonen was being interviewed and between comments they played several cuts. It was love at first sight. The playing is superb . The music is for the soul.

I heard the music on this CD played live by the two artists on NPR last night. It's moving and romantic-- I didn't even want to get out of the car. So, now I'm here buying it. Many of the pieces have been transposed from piano to violin. The melodies are slow and sensuous, perfect for a holiday gift or a romantic evening at home.

Few albums are good enough to be listened to all the way through in one sitting. This is one of those albums. These tasty tracks are a variety of styles, including salsa and reggae, all performed skillfully with excellent instrumentation and talent. Frankly, the talent on this album is what really blew me away. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys rhythmic, danceable, seducing music.

I actually had dinner with wagner pa while he was in madrid. I had no clue who he was. He said he was a musician and he was living in barcelona, in madrid to spin some shows. His dj buddy met my girlfriends sister while she was visiting b-town and they shacked up, so he called her up when they were in town. Long story short, some guy came in the restaurant asking for a light and stole our friends purse. So wagner and I were running around looking for the guy so we could kick the s*!#@ out of him. I didn't realize he was this big until much later. Really cool, genuine guy i must say.

Wonderful music! Wagner Pá deserves a wider audience. For comparison, imagine these folks meeting in the studio: Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Carlinhos Brown, David Byrne, Arto Lindsay, Jorge Ben, Bebel Gilerto... IF you've ever enjoyed any of these musicians, you will most certainly enjoy the music of Wagner Pá! His voice is honest and fearless. The instrumentation, textures and references are classic bossa sytylee! If you have an interest in contemporary Brazuca sound, "The Perpetual Passerby" will have you smiling!
